This must be up north some where, cause of the heater in front of the garage. Down here in south florida its about 97 degrees, feels like 120 with the humidity...always summer. Thats why i had to upgrade my radiator on my '89 5.0. I'm restoring her to original condition, especialy with the paint & bodywork. Nice car bro......keep burning up the streets.

All depends what the bore is like, most likely the bore in the 3.0 is bigger because it revs high, high revs and long strokes w/ small bores equals a big problem. Idt that guys daily driver honda will beat this kids 5.0, no chance in hell.

Not necessarily. The pistons are about the same size its all about boring for high compression, high compression on V6 motors IE 350/370zs and such is what makes them keep up with 5.0s and 4.6s. Piston size should be about the same

Stock transmissions don't come with shift kits. Unless he was planning on switching over to a manual then the shift light is useful. He has a stock shifter. No reason to mess with an automatic since its more constant than a manual down the strip.

original 86' motors are junk anyways, find yourself a low mile 87-93 motor....86 had the flat top pistons and were toady compared to newer years

In '86 HP was hurt by the heads.You can swap on later E7TE heads, keep your flat tops (the valves will clear with a stock cam) and have a better engine due to the higher compression.

I had one dude, check out my vids, it had a 302 v8 5.0. with a shift kit, It was ok at accelerating. but not very good top end. Damn i miss that car.
