I started yesterday with old muscle. I drive a Tier 2, '69 Charger. On one track with two laps I finished with 1 million points, go figure. I'm not a good driver. Maybe your wheels aren't fit for drifting.

Try the outside of the track(At this type of tracks). These parts are painted(Striped), there you can get more points faster(Bonus zone) Maybe that will help you with drifting.
