That's kind of the curse of the X-Men movie franchise - decay. It just gets worse and worse. First Class isn't even listed as having Cyclops or Jean.

The first film (the one with Sabertooth in it) was a large, feral, blonde, hairy man in brown, garb. Apparently, 30 years before that, he was a short haired, slightly scraggly, sadistic, short man in what could be compared to a Matrix outfit. With Origins displaying an unchanged Sabertooth over 200 (WWI), it shoots Origins credibility down as a prequel to the first 3 movies.
