  • Obama is such a disappointment. He's being a doormat to the far right and screwing over the general public.

  • Sigh between a choice of the Republican in disguise or an insane woman I choose CANADA!!!!!!! Hello fellow Canadians got any room for me?

  • I'VE SAID IT ONCE AND I'LL SAY IT AGAIN MAN YOU ARE ONE FAT FUCKIN TURK

  • Why not just be realistic and say "President Bush gives yet another State of the Union speech"?

  • In the end, this is the Republican Party's ultimate goal: a win-win situation for 2012. If Obama wins the 2012 election, they'll have a Republican President. If Obama loses the 2012 election, they'll have a Republican President. In either situation, the economy is probably going to collapse. Compromise for all!

  • The problem is Orwelian double speak is here. I know I sound like Laughtner, but it's true about grammar - or the conditioning of words.

The narrative that Obama is a 'Socialist' has won out against all empirical evidence that he is center right at most.

I've seen ppl vehemently argue that Obama and Bush are 'progressives' I've seen other Amerikans swear Obama was far left.

If you don't have the education & vocabulary to correctly interpret reality, you're fckt & the US is PROPER fckt.

  • @MrDustock beause its the counties job, not the governors job, to find it

  • What's with the stupid music?

  • $6.4 billion? So, are you still going to secede, Perry? HMM???

  • @cleanhomer Perry is a traitor. I wish he would try an secede, so I have an excuse to treat him like a traitor. Of course it would be laughable to see these inbred morons try and manage nationhood for 5 minutes.

  • Obama should watch sleeping with the enemy, he'll find many similarities to his own presidency.

  • i thought cenk's show tonight was great, keep it up! Hope he gets high in the ratings!

  • Cenk you're moving on up! Kudos

  • Cenk, if that wasn't your best rant yet it was certainly in the top ten.

  • I can't STAND Tv!

  • What's especially disgusting is how he either doesn't acknowledge our disappointment or minimizes it as if we were whining children.

Goodbye Obama, at least you get the first African American President award in the history books. Too bad you quit there.

  • Obama is worse than Bush, but still not quite as bad as Cheney.

  • what have happened cenk? have you sold your soul?

  • A centrist who leans right, isn't that a conservative republican?

  • Obama = Mussolini

  • Thank you, Mr. President for all the counterfeiting of the Federal Reserve Notes, which are not backed by any assets, no gold, only US Treasury debt.

Thank you, Mr. President for the printing and spending, borrowing and spending, inflation, raising prices for food and energy.

Thank you, Mr. President for continuing with the wars you said you'd stop.

Thank you, Mr. President for all the rules and regulations on the books that are NOT yet dismantled, for the shit that kills the economy.

  • Obama is still on the left and being influenced by lefties and corrupt organizations he has allot of changing to do if he wants a chance at reelection.

  • @JBBlitz

Wow. Where is this Obama you speak of? His evil twin is in office right now sucking the Corporation's dicks.

  • Cenk needs to stop trying to be professional and start trying to be his TYT self on TV, cuz that whole professional shit just ain't working.

  • @zaggers77 yea unfortunately i think they'd fire him if he did, especially if he swore.

  • "A tall glass of shut-up juice." Cenk is amazing.

  • Obama = Lenin

  • @capotegabriel Lenin is rolling in his coffin.

  • @capotegabriel

Lenin was cooler. And has a good brand of soda named after him. Leninade is the shit.

  • I bet shut up juice taste like sour grapes...

  • It was not just the Republicans loving the 400 billion dollars in tax cuts to the rich--Obama was talking up the stock market... Where do you think that money came from?

Obama serves the richest of the rich (forget 200K top 2% people, I am talking top .0000001%) just like Bush did.

The stock market is NOT a barometer for the economy anymore.

  • shut up juice?

  • America's only real enemies are Republicans.

  • cenk i came here for tyt not msnbc

  • @mrspazshot

So you don't want people to be able to watch his TV videos? How selfish is that? You have your TYT, which I'm 100% you don't pay a penny for, and now you also have these vids, but that's not good enough for you.

Question: why do you deserve these things?

  • Obama is a republican

  • Hey guys, I'm a liberal and I want this nation to be a totalitarian! WEE! Force me to pay the poor! Force me to learn that science is the answer to fundamental questions! Tax me! Tax me! Tax a student who earns 8000 a year! WEE!

    I LOVE MY COUNTRY! WEE!

Let's protest for a dictatorship now.

  • @jshjamaarify you are a teabagger ain't cha!!!

  • @eugeneonegin09 I'm a centralist bashing Cenk for his far left liberal bias. Give Ana the mic Cenk because you suck.

  • Comment removed

  • Wow! A bigger dickhead than Olbermann!!!

  • @Stickmodee that would be rush limburger

  • @Stickmodee I know right? Cenk is another Olbermann I tell ya' GET HIM OFF THE AIR!

  • 4:12-4:22 Texas isn't doing better than the other 49 states because of good economic policy, but because of the stimulus welfare handouts they're soooo opposed to. All this time I've been hearing people from TX talk about how they're way of living was right and how they were more fiscally responsible than places like California, pft! Gtfo and take Jim Demint with ya.

  • 9 trillion in FED debt the US's GDP is 15 trillion, America is fucked

  • YES! CENK SAID TALL GLASS OF SHUT UP JUICE ON MSNBC! GO GET 'EM, CENK!

  • @ccrider0217 Yeah he did, and it sounded so stupid. Adding frick, freak, or even firetruck would've been better than nothing. Or of course just saying "STFU" would've maybe led the uninformed sheeple to do a (gasp) internet search of stfu... perhaps leading to other and maybe differing opinions and information that they should probably already know.

  • The "CHANGE" means changing from a white man liar and bullshitter to a black man bullshit artist lying his ass off while living at at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Change we can believe in!

  • Someone should wake up Obama, He's been sleeping along time now.

  • @wtfamos Oh he is awake. He just rather get that extra donation contribution that is waiting for him back home then conduct real change

  • Obama's the MVP for the GOP, they should give him a frikkin' blowjob!

  • A statesman is an easy man

    He tells his lies by rote;

A journalist makes up his lies

    And takes you by the throat;

So stay at home and drink your beer

    And let the neighbors vote.

  • Apparently when Obama went into campaign with "Yes we can", he meant "Yes we can make any compromises the Republicans want, regardless of whatever the hell happen to the citizens who voted for me". Not "Change we can believe in" but "Change republicans can believe in".

  • Great hosting. This definitely has a "TYT" style to it.

  • Great hosting. This definitely has a "TYT" style to it.

  • i just hope they wont shut cenk down because hes to bold by stating the truth

  • The fuck is up with the make-up Cenk?

  • Is "centrist" the new word for stupid?

  • As a Communist, I gotta say that Obama is nowhere near being Left enough; he's a Centrist.

The problem is that the political spectrum shifted massively to the far right. So to the GOP, Obama seems 'too' Leftist. When in reality, it is not.

This way, the GOP can conjure up a 'boogeyman' and scare the Hell out of Americans, and divert the focus on them and place it elsewhere.

BTW Jesus was a Pinko. And Cuba is far better than it was during Batista. Suck on that you fake-capitalist clones.

  • I would like Cenk to debate Obama

  • leornado da vinci was probably gay..

  • @spaik007 It's a "new age trash" theory. Don't believe everything you hear on TV.

  • @pepintheshort100 no its in the history books here in sweden, its most likely that he was homosexual.

Also: i like how you respond on my random comment..

  • @spaik007 Oh, I see... history books in Sweden. That makes so much sense, doesn't it?

    lol

Because in the Renaissance people talked about if someone was homosexual or not.

  • poor cenk, i guess, in the end the match that lights other's is doomed to burn itself out.

  • When are the people going to realize that it is time to destroy the democratic party. They've been doing this to us for thirty years. Sure it will be awful for the republicans to fuck things up more than they are already but it is essential that the democratic party be removed so we can get out of this stupid dichotomy which is destroying our nation. The democratic party is only there to suck up the votes of people who don't want obvious psychopaths in office. But they are much worse.

  • Cenk is about to get his own show!!!

  • '7.2Billion dollars and Jersey still broke wow!!

  • you go get em Cenk! but please be sure to come back to TYT cause its way better then MSNBC!!!!

  • You're doing just fine Cenk.

  • i dont think a thank you or an apology was part of the buy-in package for these motherfuckers

  • @paragshah2112 they're making the pres look like a shithead and his orders are to follow along

  • Ideal format: 30 minutes of politics, 20 minutes of entertainment with Ana, last commercial break for final thought.

  • no i like cenk the way he is right now on MSNBC and on TYT. hes pushing the limits. think of all the hosts of shows like anderson cooper on CNN who don't have any political opinions at all. Ur not going to get to move everything on TYT to MSNBC. For example, you won't get away with rating kim kardashian's looks on MSNBC. And not everyone is going to understand TYT inside jokes. Cenk is doing his best to push the boundaries so let him be.

  • @TheAce1082 Why not just "publish" TYT on MSNBC? I know it would need some change to the format, but I think that will be minor (like some bipping and a PG13 or PG)... I don't see why it would not pass (oh, wait... The FCC, but I find them stupid, so).

  • @TheAce1082 Why not just having MSNBC "publishing" TYT live on TV? I know it would mean some change to the format, like time for ads (maybe simultaneously to some music), but that should be able to pass without too much problem... I know, the FCC and some parent association might go berserk, but they are pretty much crazy anyway so it would not change anything.

  • @TheAce1082 I think Cenk's doing an amazing job.

He's engagingly yet diligently integrating the awesome traits of TYT that we all love, and effectively bridging the gap and using his adept TV-environment know~how to expose MSNBC viewers and non-TYT-ARMY-members alike, a great balance of ~WhAT~ makes TYT (0nLinE) so AWESOME, Entertaining, Interesting, etc., to the TV audience, many of whom I imagine regularly watch, or perhaps have never use[d], online media prior witnessing some Cenk-ness.

    =3

  • Cenk kicks ass.

MSNBC just got a huge injection of AAAWesome.

    =3

  • I like the new MSNBC intro. It is very fitting for the TYT audience. The kraken release it.

  • I'm sure they did send the notes. except it was in the form of legal tender.

  • Fuck Obama. I voted for him stupidly thinking he at least wouldn't be a third term for Bush. Boy was I wrong. He's now just basically plagiarizing Bush policy, even proposing a corporate tax cut and privatizing Social Security at least partially. He's now basically just doing what Mitt Romney would have done if he got elected.

I honestly don't see what the fuck Teabaggers are screaming about. He's almost completely a Bush clone now. It HAS to be race.

  • @A86

    "It HAS to be race"

Ding Ding Ding we have a winner,

That's exactly why the tea baggers hate Obama: he's proof that the presidency of the united states of america is not a position solely reserved for rich white men now just imagine if we elected an Asian American a Hispanic American a Native American (indian) or heaven forbid a dark skinned African American.

The far right would go into meltdown apocalyptic "oh my god he's not lily white and you can tell he's a minority" panic mode.

  • @Metalmeltdown1000 - I'm sure the idiotic belief that Obama is a Muslim doesn't help. There's already anti-Islamic hysteria going on in Europe (often it has racist roots or implications) and the American far-right is trying to make it an American import.

  • @A86" I honestly don't see what the fuck Teabaggers are screaming about" True, tea party members hated what Bush did just as much as what Obama is doing. The tea party members don't see much difference between Bush and Obama. That is why they are "screaming".

  • @xxdonaldqxxx - They're screaming calling him a "socialist" and "communist" and "Marxist" when basically just a Neocon like Bush. And they're calling him a "Muslim" as an insult which shows their religious bigotry (and probably racism).

The Teabagggers didn't say shit about Bush for the most part and the majority of them voted him. Most of them probably twice. Most of them defended Bush's ass while he was in Office and some of them STILL try to defend him and claim he was a good president.

  • @A86 The teaparty or as you call them "teabaggers" were fooled by Bush the same way you were fooled by Obama. Most of the tea people are against the Iraq and Afghanistan war. They want the borders closed and the United States to once again be a sovereign nation. You may have more in common with them then you think. However the media along with the Republicans and Democrats will do back flips making sure you never know it.

  • I'd bet good money that Pres. Obama will join the ranks of the "one term presidents." Promise everything, deliver nothing, bend over for the GOP and even holds the can of lube for them. For a heterosexual the president sure does take it up the ass from the GOP like and old pro.

  • @RobNLynchburgVA what hasnt he done that he promised?

  • @mashack12 Let see ...he caved to wall street, he caved to the insurance companies he caved to special interest. I supported the man because he promised change and as far as I can see he hasn't delivered on that promise. It's business as usual. Hell he even jumps when fox news tells him to. I can almost guarantee he won't win re-election, unless they run sarah palin against him. And even that might not insure him a second term. So keep living your fantasy.

  • @RobNLynchburgVA the great thing is all that you just said is false i dont believe you can tell me 1 policy that the president promised that hasnt gotten done or been voted on.. how did he cave to wall street? or the insurace industry or to special interest.. those are all premises with no base.. all assumptions with no substance

  • @mashack12 He caved on Health Care, Financial Reform, Gitmo, Iraq, Patriot Act, attorney general appointments, prosecution of the illegal firings of attorneys general, threw anyone Rush Limbaugh didn't like under the bus, failed to get BP, blew off Copenhagen and Merida, gave us mandated insurance with private carriers, extra judicial assassination of U.S. citizens, tax cuts for the rich while we take money out of the general fund. "premises with no base assumptions with no substance"? ha ha ha

  • @hamnose now look at all those you just talked HC reform i assume you mean public option.. what you forget is it passed the house and didnt pass the senate.. he didnt cave the other dems caved.. Gitmo went up to vote it passed the house yet didnt poass in the senate.. Iraq is ending.. he never wanted to prosecute them hows that caving? he threw who under the bus? how could he have "gotten" BP.. he mandated it b/c his plan doesnt work unless every1 is in it.. whats this talk of assasinations?..

  • @hamnose tax cuts also for the mid class oand UE benifits for 13 mos. 750B in stimulus for that also extra tax breaks for working families.. passed DADT START 9/11.. matthew shepard act lily ledbetter act.. saved the US car industry.. and they wil be paying us back.. kept us from depression.. education reform.. cap n trade.. stimulus 1..the DOW was at 6340 when he came in office its at 11910 today hes done alot more than you will ever give him credit for.. already more than Clinton&bush together

  • @mashack12 They arent saying what he wanted passed didnt get passed. Health Care did pass, BUT the point we are trying to make is that had he and his party had a more aggressive and unified meesage about many of the bills he wanted to pass, most of what WE wanted would have been included. People in the house and senate will turn heads when there is massive public support for a certain policy. Thats why Susan Collins voted for repeal of DADT. Messaging is important in order to change votes.

  • @biggydx the thing is at that time 65% of those polled said they didnt want health care.. so it was easy to vote no.. he passed a very progressive agenda and he gets no love from the left.. thats why i say fuck the base b/c they dont have his back unless he does exactly what they want to a tee.. if he doesnt get everything that they want then they piss on him.. tell me what president has had a more progressive agenda than Barack Obama?

  • clinton did.

  • @mashack12 - 65% of Americans said they didn't want the current Healthcare Bill after the Public Option was dropped. Between 57 to 65% of Americans wanted the Public Option.

It's not about Obama, it's about us. If Obama isn't helping the country and isn't doing anything for his base then fuck HIM. We're trying to put people back to work, help the sick and dying and undo the damage Bush I and II, Reagan (and Clinton) did to this country. Not be a Team Obama fan club and help his personal legacy.

  • @A86 that isnt true.. they didnt want the HC bill before it was lost and that is what the Right ran on.. tell me why you dont hate all the presidents then.. tell me why you dont hate every president who had slaves every president who went to war..its not about doing what the base wants its about doing what the country wants hes not the (D) pres hes THE pres.hes fixed the economy saved the auto industry..everything he promised has already been voted on..hes helped us more than any pres since LBJ

  • @mashack12 - The country wanted the Public Option. The Healthcare Bill had more than 50% support of the country before the Public Option was tossed out. He fixed the economy for Wall Street but not for most people. You claim he tried to pass everything he promised? When did he try to regulate Wall Street and derivatives? When did he have BP investigated? When did he try to repeal the Patriot Act and close Guantanamo Bay? When did crack down on lobbyists? Raise taxes on the rich?

  • @A86 regulation of derivitives passed the house if you dont recall it didnt passs the senate.. BP was investigated and they were under subpoena.. they brought the Gitmo vote to congress didnt pass senate.. there is no lobbyist in the white house first president ever to do so.. he raised taxes on the rich it passed the house and didnt pass the senate..so the only president you like is eisenhower? well then there is no way for me to get through to you but there you go with the answers to you Q's

  • @mashack12 - "there is no lobbyist in the white house"

Bull. Check out Obama's dealings with insurance companies and Big Pharma. When did he raise taxes on the rich? All he had to do was let the Bush tax cuts run out and he refused to veto the bill to extend them. There was no bill to end them. BP was never subpoenaed. Figures because like many Congresspersons Obama was given money by BP.

Eisenhower isn't the only president I like but I don't really care for the majority of presidents.

  • @A86 there are no lobbyist meaning there are none in the admin.. first time ever.. also first time ever where eery person to come to the white house is to be disclosed.. if he didnt raise the taxes.. the other 98% dont get the cuts.. there are NoUE benifits.. he doesnt pass DADT START STIMULUS 2 zadroga bill and doesnt get a chance to pass the DREAM act.. none of those accomplishments would have gotten done.. so if you dont like any of those then i guess he could have done that

  • @mashack12 - "if he didn't raise the taxes....the other 98% dont get the cuts"

I have no clue what you were trying to say there.

DADT, START and DREAM are all separate bills independent of one another. You don't need one to pass the other like you seemed to imply. DADT isn't that progressive (it's mostly just to help the war) and the Stimulus Bill was largely a corporate giveaway.

I'm starting to think you're just spouting random keywords like an automaton without much thought.

  • @A86 im implying that the R party said they qould not pass anything until the taxes were passed.. im sure you remember that.. DADT was a very left cause it wasnt for the war it was for civil rights.. the stimulus bill was for the middle class what are you talking about? the stimulus wasw tax cuts for the middle class and money for infrastructure to create jobs.. what does that have to do with any corporate giveaway? i meant to say if he didnt pass tax cuts for top 2% the 98% would be forgotten

  • @mashack12 - The Bush tax cut extension wouldn't have passed the Senate. They had enough votes against.

DADT had some civil rights consequences but it was mainly to fill military quotas by allowing out gays and lesbians in the service. The Stimulus didn't create nearly as many jobs as it was aimed to do because it basically just gave corporations and state governments money with no strings attached. Why hire anyone when the government will just compensate you for your losses from the recession?

  • @A86 "The Bush tax cut extension wouldn't have passed the Senate" what you dont get is nothing gets done until it gets passed.. "DADT had some civil rights consequences but it was mainly to fill military quotas " thats how you think of it.. thats not how the ppl who wanted DADT done see it.. stimulus didnt give the corparations anythinng the reason it didnt create as many jobs because it wasnt enough money.. the amount of jobs that the pres missed by was 400k he promised 1.5 M he only got 1.1

  • @mashack12 - "nothing gets done until it gets passed"

Passed? You let the cut run out. There is nothing to pass. You can simply block any bills to extend it by vetoing bills to extend it. Simple as that. I agree that the Stimulus wasn't enough money by a longshot but it did give a lot of businesses no-strings-attached money.

  • @A86 and when it runs out the new (R) congress comes in.. and then they wont pass DADT and they wont Pass Start and they wont pass the DREAM act you wont pass Zadroga you wont pass UE benifits for 13 mos. what you might have forgotten is that letter that the (R) singend that no matter what they wouldnt pass any piece of legislation until tax cuts get done.. if the UE drops down to 8% why wont you give him credit? hes no where near a bush clone..

  • @mashack12 - One has nothing to do with the other. Not passing DADT (which is already passed) has nothing to do with whether or not START and DREAM will pass.

You seem to have forgotten the tax cuts will add to the deficit AND the debt for long after UE benefits run out. Then what?

"hes no where near a bush clone"

He's continuing the Patriot Act, the Bush tax income and corporate tax cuts for the rich, Guantanamo, protecting war criminals, continuing deregulation of Wall Street, etc.

  • @A86 DADT START DREAM and Zadrga are not connected but they would have not passed in the new congress which if the pres had not signed the tax cuts like you wanted there would be none of those in tact today.. I am not for the rich tax cuts and neither is the president.. but it was neccissary to get his agenda foward.. the patriot axt has been actually changed to go after terrorist stopping the 3 DC attacks 2 NYC attacks and the OR attack.. GITMO was voted on closure & didnt pass

  • @mashack12 - If he didn't extend the tax cuts the other things would still be voted on separately. Repubs don't have enough power in the Senate to vote down DADT, START and DREAM.

As for claiming the Repubs would shut down Congress that's what they've BEEN doing. So how would things be any different? They've never gone along with what the President wants.

  • @A86 did you remember that thing that i keep telling you the all promised not to vote yes on any bill until they got the tax deal.. how are you forgetting this? they did vote down DREAM they did vote down DADT and the voted down.. the thing is when he did the tax deal they did DADT they DID START they did 9/11 and in the tax deal he got a 2nd stimulus deal incorporated and UE benifits for 13 mos.

  • @mashack12 - When have they voted yes on ANY bill? Or at least more than 10 or so of them voting yes on a bill the President tried to get passed? It's no different. We still got stuff passed even with no Republican votes.

They don't have the power to vote down UE benefits. Obama was just making excuses.

  • @A86 that isnt true tell me 1 bill that passed with out a republican vote?? not 1.. you are making excuses to hate Obama that is it.. i would say fuck manning under Bush to.. I think assange is a bitch also.. hes in no worse a psoition than all the prisoners who are arrested here on frivilous charges like weed possesion.. but he gave fucking classified docs to some bitch.. that is treason and i think he should be in jail for life.. you wont give Obama credit if he cures cancer

  • @mashack12 - Without a Republican vote? The Healthcare Bill.

Since you seem to be a full-out apologist for imperialism and war crimes I see no reason to continue this conversation. Committing war crimes isn't curing cancer, it's causing cancer. Why in the fuck would I give Obama credit for committing crimes against humanity? Fuck Obama and fuck his apologists.

  • @A86 and for that brief moment we had 60 votes.. did we have 60 votes for the tax deal? did we have 60 votes for dream? or start? not until we got the tax deal done.. i wasntsaying this president cured cancer smart ass i said you wouldnt give him credit if he did cure cancer.. you know who commited a war crime?? pfc. manning.. so you are right fuck him.. you wont give president Obama for HC or DADT or START or credit card reform wall street reform cap& trade cont..

  • @mashack12 - There were only 59 votes when the Healthcare Bill was passed. It passed with less than 59 Senate votes. When the tax deal was passed there were still 59 Democrats in the Senate. There's no excuse.

And what war crime did PFC Manning supposedly commit? I won't give Obama credit for Healthcare Reform because he didn't reform healthcare. It was a giveaway for insurance companies. So no, no credit for that. What the fuck reform did he bring to Wall Street? What cap and trade?

  • @A86 the HC bill was passed w/ 60 votesPfc manning commited Treason that is a war crime.. HC reform was a reform like i said you wont give him credit for passing anything.. the bank bonuses you are talking about were from TARP which was bush's bailout.. Obamas bailouts had regulations to it.. and the taxpayers got paid back with interest.. GM would have crashed to the ground and the american auto industry would have failed and 4M jobs would have been lost.. no credit for that?

  • @mashack12 - Which Healthcare Bill had 60 votes? Name it. What treason has PFC Manning committed and what reform was in the Healthcare Bill other than some uninsured people being able to get insurance again at a heavy price?

What regulations were in the Obama bailouts? You keep saying a bunch of shit with no substance. You haven't listed a single regulation that is supposedly in any of this and you can't even keep the facts straight.

  • @A86 the HC bill that got passed ion the senate.. the War crime that manning commited is treason.. what is the Heavy price? if you dont give a shit that 52 M ppl will be insured under this new bill then you are a dick head.. the bailouts were to be ppaid back in full to the tax payer.. unlike the Tarp.. and in the Obama bailouts they are being paid in full and with intrest.. all your money is coming back to you plus interest.. what are you bitching about?

  • @mashack12 - Neither HC bill received 60 votes. Which one are you talking about? What war crime did Manning commit?

52 million new people are insured at the price of insurance companies raising premiums 59%. I don't know about you but to most people that's pretty heavy. Already 18% of Americans can't afford their groceries because of medical prices. Are you even aware of this shit? I bet not.

  • @A86 are you retarded.. arlen specter was the 60th vote when he switched to dem.. i said this 4 times Manning commited Treason.. that is a war crime. actually premiums have risen the llwest levels since the HC bill was enacted.. "18% of Americans can't afford their groceries because of medical prices" so Baraxk tried to fix that what president do you know who have done something about it? not 1 only this president..hmmm hmmmm

  • @mashack12 - The 60th vote died - old Ted Kennedy. Remember? What treason has PFC Manning committed and since when is unconstitutional torture and seizure justified?

Premiums rose as much as 59% since 2009:

    (.) bloomberg (.) com/ news / 2011-01-06/ blue-shield-plans-to-raise-individual-california-premiums-as-much-as-59- (.) html

Massive job loss is still going on. We're still losing more jobs than we're creating. So what job loss is he stopping now? Read some facts and get off Obama's dick.

  • @A86 Manning took classified docs.. and gave them away.. that is treason whtere you like it or not.. we do what we are doing to our prisoners all the time.. 23 hour lockdown is normal for prison.. massive job loss isnt going on.. if there is a gross of 200K jobs a month where is the major job loss? we are making more jobs than we are losing you need to get your factsa right.. that is the problem you dont know your facts.. you try to make them up and then call em facts sound like fox

  • @mashack12 - Whether or not you consider it "treason" there is no excuse for unconstitutional seizure. Treason or not. He hasn't been officially charged and they haven't set a date for him to stand trial.

"there is a gross of 200K jobs a month"

    That's over 2 million a year. That's quite a lot.

  • @A86 what you dont realize is that many of the inmates in the united states dont get a trail for a year or more. so i feel no sorrow for him.. if he didnt do it he wouldnt be in prison.. 200K jobs a month is alot that is my point .. UE could be at 15% for the nation OFFICIALLY if he hadnt done what he did to keep this nation from a depression.. what you are blaming Obama for is dealing with a recerrsion that Bush created and not fixing it fast enough.. that is BS

  • @mashack12 - Manning has not had charges brought against him and no date has been set and he's not allowed communication. That's unconstitutional and there's no excuse. You're a traitor for supporting a man (Obama) over the Constitution.

Earlier you said 200K jobs a month wasn't a lot. Earlier you said "if there is a gross of 200K jobs a month where is the major job loss?" Now you've gone and contradicted yourself.

  • @A86 hes in solitary confinement like i said that happens in our normal prisons.. where in the onstitution does it say its unconstitutional.. and i guess going against slavery was being a traitor since it was in the constitution right? a200K gross means a positive job gain br.. there are 200k more jobs being made than jobs being lossed.. yes that is a lot of jobs.. you are the one who hs proved my point that we are on the right path..

  • @mashack12 - Indefinite detention with no charges is unconstitutional. Normal prisons don't hold people in solitary for non-violent offenses with no charges, no trial dates and no communication with the outside world. You need to read the Bill of Rights.

    "means a positive job gain"

The job growth under Obama in 2010 was only about 875,000 jobs. Not 3 million:

    thehill (.) com / blogs/ blog - briefing - room / news / 127839-obama-hails-encouraging-news-in-jobs-report-

  • @A86 trhat isnt rue the job growth under Obama in 20101 was 1.2 M and now in 2011 we are making 200K a mos. there have been 2.7 M jobs created over 2 years.. more than Bushs 8 years.. saved 4 M jobs with GM.. these blogs arent giving you good info you got to get Info from the commisions that calculate them..

you dont think he wanted to raise taxes on the rich?

  • @mashack12 - "job growth under Obama in 20101 was 1.2 M"

    Cite your source.

GM doesn't employ 4 million people. Where do you get this nonsense?

  • @A86 but that doesnt creat jobs it creates revenue to the gov't.. closing tax loop holes and simplifying the tax code is penalizing companies for outsourcing.. he is heavily investing in green jobs.. he cant pass another stimulus bill he snuck 700B in the tax cuts that yuo think shouldnt have happend.. all that money that was given to the state s are for infrastructure goveners are declining that money like christie in new jersey who dont want to use the money for it..

  • @mashack12 - "but that doesn't creat jobs"

Building rails, building roads, putting up buildings and building power plants wouldn't create jobs? Companies wouldn't hire people to do this? How does that work?

Besides, the government needs more revenue. That would help solve the deficit.

  • @A86 Gm employs 4M ppl counting dealerships plants & corperate offices.. bully pulpit isnt shit when the(R) dont give a fuck about polls.. he didnt use the bullypulpit to getDADT passed he rarely spoke about DADT if you dont recall DADT did not pass during the (R) holdout of votes..in december.. he didnt twist (R) arms he gave them the study they asked for and it changed their minds.. no twisting arms.. Boehner said hed compromise before he got majority..

  • @mashack12 - GM employs less than 300,000 people. There is not a single legitimate source claiming 4 million people work for GM. DADT repeal languished in Congress until December. That's not unusual. The twisting is when he got Lieberman to go along with the repeal motion and tried to pass the Bill as a stand-alone bill.

Refusing to allow Republicans to repeal the HC Law might make them go against anything else Obama proposes in the future. That doesn't seem to make him compromise

  • @A86 are you ridiculous?????? GM employees more than 1M jobs in North Michigan the alone.. ive seen this figure on every news network including FOX.. Lieberman was a main fighter in DADT repeal there was no need to twist his arm.. stop making stuff up.. it didnt pass in the Senate when the refused to vote for it to pass.. everyone but Olympia Snow.. its idiotic to think he will repeal his main bill i Dont even see ehy you tink it would have been an option

  • @A86 if you have seen the last 4 interviews with boehner he wouldnt even say the word compromise he refuses compromise.. hmm the reason he sais he would veto the repeal of HC bill is because that is his main achievment what kinda commonsense would it be to let it pass?? .. its impossible to get thru to you if he vetoed the tax deal then the poor get no tax cuts, the UE get no benifits.. DADT isnt passed START isnt passed 9/11 bill isnt passed..

  • @mashack12 - Like he did on tax cuts. So he's scared of Republicans when they threaten him over tax cuts but not scared of them when they'll do the same thing more than likely for not letting them repeal HC?

"the poor get no tax cuts"

The tax cuts in the Bush tax cuts are not paid for. The ones in the Stimulus Bill WERE paid for. Huge difference. The tax cuts for the poor in the Bush tax cuts will just add to the national debt.

  • @A86 hes not a dictator he has to get things passede through congress.. it seems like you forget that.. its hard when you have a party who doesnt want the economy to get better b/c it means you fail..its hard to turn the economy around when governers refuse to take the money b/c its against their ideals..you forget that everything you said he is trying to do but he cant snap his fingers an make it happen.. you have to use your head thnk about whats really going on and see what hes really doing

  • @mashack12 - "hes not a dictator"

Duh, but he also has a bully pulpit and the Veto pen. He used his bully pulpit to get DADT passed, he can use it again. Obama only puts on this weak act when it's stuff he doesn't really care about. When it's still he really wants (like DADT) he always manages to twist Republican arms into agreeing with him. Even John Boehner said he'd compromise if Obama twisted his arm.

Magical how Obama seems to find power when it's his agenda...

  • @mashack12 - He even threatened to Veto a repeal of the HC Bill. Republicans want to get repeal HC just as badly as they wanted to extend the Bush tax cuts. You don't hear about Obama backing down or agreeing to compromise on the HC Bill and allowing it to be repealed. He'll use his veto pen just like he should have on efforts to extend the Bush tax cuts. Obama even proposed his OWN tax cuts that wasn't initiated by Bush.

  • @A86 the tax cuts he propesed all help the middle class ehich was a 700B stimulus package.. think before you talk.. he didnt have to twist arm to get DADt passed he didnt have to twist arms to get HC passed as you said no(R) voted for it in the house and 1 (R) voted for it to pass in senate..

  • @mashack12 - on HC. So he'll compromise on Tax Cut Law but not on the HC Law?

The Bush tax cuts for the poor are not paid for and will be added to the national debt. The Obama tax cuts in the Stimulus were paid for. BIG difference. I never said he twisted arms to get the HC Bill passed.

  • @A86 of course hell compromise on tax deal when he got 13mos. of UE.. bush tax cuts arent paid for but is that Obamas fault no.. but do you let the poor suffer b/c you disagree with an idea.. no a black president wont do that.. the rich cant take a tax hike.. a poor man not so much

  • @mashack12 - 13 months of UE benefits for 24 months (minimum) of racking up more debt and encouraging more layoffs (as tax cuts have been shown to do?) That's a pretty stupid deal.

Besides, the Republicans don't have the power to shut down UE benefits. All he had to was make it a stand-alone bill.

    "but is that Obamas fault"

It's partially his fault now for extending them. Now they're his tax cuts as much as much as they were Bush's.

  • @A86 1) fuck the debt i rather have aUS debt than have millions of starving families not have what they need to live or survive 2) UE benifits are the second most stimulative way for the economy to grow behind food stamps.. 3) its was a stand alone bill and you know what it didnt pass the senate.. the tax cuts were common snse once you think about the poor peopl who need them and the bills that passed after the tax deal..

  • @mashack12 - 1) I agree that not having people starving is more important but building up debt also helps ensure more of that in the future; 2) I agree there; 3) Look at the provisions in the bill. There's a lot of stuff tacked on other than UE benefits in that bill. Look at it.

  • @A86 do you think that he can twist 75 (R) house arms? he needed no (R) support in the house to get DADT passed what are you talking about? the (R) did have pwer to stop UE in the senate.. they actually voted it down if you dont remember.. twice actually.. so what you say isnt true.. Gridlock is going to happen no matter what and of course hes not going to pass repeal of his own HC bill why would he do that??

  • @mashack12 - Can he twist 75 (R) House arms? We'll see but he doesn't seem to have much of a problem getting passed things that he really wants done.

"GM employees more than 1M jobs in North Michigan the alone"

    No they don't:

    en (.) wikipedia (.) org / wiki / General_Motors

Get your news from real sources. Not Fox and anonymous TV sources you claim to have seen.

  • @A86 what he wanted passed got passed with very little (R) support so what s your point? and i rather get my facts from CNN and NBC.. while you tell me to get my facts from wikipedia where anyone can put the info up hahaha

  • @mashack12 - My point is he could have made UE benefits a standalone bill. Most Republicans wouldn't vote against it as a standalone.

This is the source in the Wiki article:

    (.) gm (.) com / corporate/ about/

Where are the CNN and NBC articles claiming GM employs 4 million?

  • @mashack12 - "General Motors, one of the world's largest automakers, traces its roots back to 1908. With its global headquarters in Detroit, GM employs 209,000 people in every major region of the world and does business in more than 120 countries."

    Straight from GM's website.

  • @A86 yea its corporate office is 209K alone now think about all the factories.. now think about all GM dealerships.. there is where you get the 4 M number..

  • @mashack12 - That's not what the corporate office employs. Did you read the quote?

"With its global headquarters in Detroit, GM employs 209,000 people IN EVERY MAJOR REGION OF THE WORLD"

That its global employ around the world combined. It only employs about 65,000 in the US. Nothing in that quote claims that's what the corporate headquarters alone employs. Notice the comma after "in Detroit"?
