And the house's iconic furnishings of a mouse hole and a picture hanging on exposed wire wryly evoke the malaise of a familiar and comforting but obliquely unreal parallel world. And of course Oh, It's You, The Aquarium Guy's dying words are a classic, subtext-gorged touch.
