My favorite song of Mylon's is "For My Growing". It is the final song on the 'Crack the Sky' and I can't find it on CD or anywhere else. Does anyone have any ideas. I found it on cassette tape but not on CD and it is the most uplifting song. It is wonderful.

Along with Keith Green, Mylon and Broken Heart served as my introduction to Contemporary Christian Music those early years of my growth. I'll always remember thinking, WOW! Is THIS CHRISTIAN MUSIC!!! I thought I was "doomed" to having to listen to 16th century hymns, (which as I grew I also came to love an appreciate) "MORE" is the first Contemporary Song I wanted to sing on my own and FEEL what the artist was singing.

this takes me back to highschool, 1980 and also seeing Mylon in Brooklynn Center, MN highschool in 1985 and I also saw him and talked with him when he was out in Seattle, WA what a great brother, servant of the Lord! still his songs stir my heart and Spirit to worship and get lost in God's love. cherish the memories and the songs!

I love Mylon and Broken Heart ! I was saved in the mid 80's and have always loved rock music. When I discovered Mylon and Broken Heart I was so excited. Their music ministered to me more than I can express. I went to see them so many times live.

Mylon, if you happen to see this, one of the rewards in Heaven awaiting you is because your ministry and example has touched my life so much, and I in turn have lead others to Jesus.

I would love to see a reunion !!

Man this brings back memories. I remember him at Cornerstone 85 I think it was, back in the Grays' Lake IL camp ground days. Every other artist came in by cab or car --- Mylon pulled in by tour bus and took nearly all day unloading. I loved doing volunteer work for JePUSA back in those days, and Mylon was an amazing highlight of that year.

I went to many of their concerts, if I'm not mistaken this was at their home church, Mount Paran Baptist in Atlanta. They had tons of concerts there.

The really cool thing about Mylon and the guys was they would invite other bands in as well. Saw the likes of ALLIES and Prodigal there but Mylon and gang were always great, my favorites!

I first him with Alvin Lee of Ten Year's After. They did an album called 'On the Road to Freedom', one of the best albums I've heard from either one of them.  This song is here is just pure beauty and what a comment on the man's life. Thx, God!

I loved Mylon! Heard him in concert in Claremore, OK in 1984. Great concert! Still listen to Mylon on myspace music. Many good Mylon and Broken Heart songs there.

Oh thanks for posting this. It definitely brings back memories. Mylon spent nearly an hour counseling me after a concert. He really helped me alot. What he's into now I'm not sure but I sure miss the old days. Thanks again for posting!

Thanks a lot for this. Do you know the year? This brings back memories.  I saw them in Gaffney SC in fall 1991. I bombed my history exam at UNC the next day b/c we drove all night to get back. But it was worth it! Saw them again a few years later, still have my "Love God, Hate Sin" T-shirt! Good, authentic music, amazing concerts. Thanks thanks thanks!
