I've been trying to get L4D running on Windows 7 x64.

It plays fine, up until some enemies are on screen and my framerate drops to less than 30fps.

In Windows XP, it ran smooth as silk.

Anyone else have this issue?

I know it's the OS because it was working fine (and better) in WinXP...

if anyone is getting a "Left for Dead has stopped working" error on Vista, try playing the game in windowed mode (borderless) & disabling multicore support - that worked for me so far, touch wood it will stay that way :)
