Легендарная вальс ( музыка и слова Оскара Строка) в исполнении "золотого" голоса России Петра Константиновича Лещенко( 1898-1954). Вальс был очень популярен в Советской России в 1930-1940-е гг., хотя официально был под запретом . По воспоминаниям фронтовиков Великой Отечественной(1941-45) , этот вальс согревал душу и давал надежду в той страшной войне. Петр Лещенко умер в румынской тюрьме Вечная память.

Listen to some argentinian tango, the best tango to dance all around the world. Altough some are really deep depressive tunes, like blues itself, it is surely one of the most delightful genres you can ever listen to.

This tango, although my russian's as bad as my japanese and can't understand much, it surely is precious!!! Really loved it!

Thanks a lot for this beautiful song. It was my Dad's favorite song and now it's remind me of him . Pert Leschenko was a very popular singer in my father generation.  In the late 40th and the beginning of 50th. As far I remember, my Dad told me that Leschenko was forbidden singer at that time in Russia and it was almost a felony to listen to his songs,

Lovely tango and his voice is just velvet. Interesting weaving of a part of Otchi Chornaya into the song. Is there difference between 'Glaza' and 'Otchi'?

'Glaza' means eyes in normal, every day speaking, while 'Otchi' is a little archaic and poetic expression.

If you today would like to say to somebody: your beautiful eyes, that would be: vashi krasivye glaza...:)

In Polish - only one expression: oczy (close to Russian archaic !)
