Sonys ignorance as in letting everyone in onyx use the taunt hack and get away with it or making it a bannable offense if you try to jack them while there fighting an avatar?? or how they never fixed the KP docks even though lava is more active now still big fights in kp here and there and still Qs get the docks. or how they made sk's and pallies OP with the shadow odyssey and they still havnt fixed that issue, Yeah good job sony thats why everyone is moving to wow and warhammer though wow sux.

pff whatever i got a quad core i have 0 problems 0 as in none zip zero ziltch for 2 years now so dont know about all you dual core users but my quad core has never done that to me once, but the way that looked to me the dude warped I could be wrong i could be very very wrong but thats the way it looked to me I never have problems like that though.

It is not Dual Core processors that cause warping. SOE fixed such issues with Dual Cores about a year ago when they started to become popular. What is happening is people are using programs, which I will not tell you the specific details about (download loc., info., etc.). The programs are memory scanners/hex editors. They search for values input by the user with a wide variety of options such as "Unknown Initial Value" and "Decreased Value" scans. There is an option to speed up the game.

they didnt fix jack there buddy. the multicore issue was just a glitch with CPU clockspeed this can be easily emulated with any program that changes program clockspeeds. the "warping" isent really warping there speed hacked the "warping" affect is the server updateing the position with the player and readjusting for current position. This is a vary simple fix however i dont see SOE fixing it becuse it would mean costing them more money in bandwithd to counter this flaw in netcode

You are absolutly wrong,, I cant say that he isnt hacking but you cant say he is. I know for a fact because I have a dual core and sony has not fixed this issue. When I log on to play sometimes my game is normal and sometimes its warped to where its fast like that. Also, sometimes it does the opposite and slows my character to a crawl. The only fix I have for this is open task manager and disable one my processors. So no, Sony has not fixed this problem yet.

Lag would cause the other 2 PC's in front of his from opposite faction to appear to be 'lag speeding away' also. The fact that out of 3 runners 1 jumps away so fast that leaves the other 2 in dust by a very long way AND the fact he reported having him do this on several occasions rules out lag. Besides speed hacking away is something they teach Qeynos on their noobie island, Cheers!

Yeah I have heard both the dual core issue which is technically not a hack but can be considered a hack if abused. Edeg is now a level 36 from the last time I checked and yes, he is still playing in EQ2 nagafen server. The dual Core seems to be a more logical explanation but I am not sure if it is or not so it's up to SoE to determine that for themselves.

saw alot of that on Darathar when i was playing PvP (when no one could twink properly and PvP was still fun) speedbuffs + lag&stuff = warping i always thought but SoW totems never helped in catching up to em. damn dirty Queernosians =P
