If u noticed during the episodes, the singing was doctored and Kandi and the producer mentioned being able to make anyone sound like they could sing. I am sure that is why Kim is friendly with Kandi as she is a user and only sticks around for what she can get out of you.

Yeah, I almost have a hard time believing that a person can be so thoroughly flat at all time. She never once catches the melody or hits a high note. Instead, it's just that deep drawl throughout the entire song, as though she's speaking rather than singing. I think she's seriously tone deaf, which is a rare condition. In her mind, she's a "good singer", so she musty be hearing something vastly different than 99 percent of her listeners.
