I chose Totodile. In my Crystal, I chose Cyndaquil since he was god in GSC. Typh got nerfed somewhat(lolphysical Tpunch, nevermind you can't get it until after the E4, lolSolarbeam, lolFocus Bomb), but Totodile improved greatly(WTFIce Fang at Lv21, WTFphysical Waterfall, WTFLv30 Crunch, WTFSuperpower)

Chikorita still sucks(lolgyms, loltyping, lolmovepool).

hehe...I chose Totodile. And for good reason. Chikorita and her evolutions don't hit hard enough, and Cyndaquil and his evolutions can't really tank hits.

Also, Totodile's family learns Ice Fang at Lv21, which saves me $5500 at the GRDS or 10000 coins from the retarded flip game. Gotta love it against Clair and Lance.

@KitsuneShapeShifter You know how to EV train? I only know that if you fight a Kadabra and level up, it will raise your sp. attack. Also that is a PERFECT plan! I just love it! I have a friend who beat Pokemon Heart Gold THREE TIMES and EV trains.

@12DragonsRule Each Pokemon has EV points in them. Kadabra has 2 SP. attack EV's. If you beat Kadabra your pokemon will get those sp. attack EV's Which gives your pokemon 2 sp attack EV's. If you beat another one you will have 4 sp attack EV's. Every 4 sp attack EV's will give you one more stat that you usually have at level 100. The full result will be shown then. You can give a Pokemon up to 255 ev's per stat and 510 all together --- Continues on the next comment! ---

@12DragonsRule You only need 252 ev's to max out a stat instead of 255 its possible to divide 252 with 4 and not 255 with 4. If your going to train a ambipom in attack and speed. First level it up in daycare where Pokemon level, without getting ev points like they do in battle, until its a level high enough to fight. Battle a pokemon like machop (They give 1 attack ev.) until you reach 252 EV points. Then find geodudes or something that gives defence ev's and do the same. ---- Continues ----

@12DragonsRule Then you can battle more pokemon that gives HP ev's until you've got 4 ev points in HP, to reach the maximum amount of stats you can get. the remaining 2 ev points are useless most of the time since they don't give any stats. @12DragonsRule Train 80 EV's in HP, 176 EV's in Attack, and last but not least 252 ev's in defence or sp defence depending on what you want and you've got yourself and fully EV trained pokemon. To see what Pokemon gives what or how many EV points. go to Pokemon (dot) marriland (dot) com. The're also items which boosts the EV's your Pokemon gets. Items that has ''Power'' in its name and ends with ''Bracer, Band, Weight'' Gives you 4 EV points plus the ev points of the Pokemon. ---- Continues ----

@12DragonsRule Macho Brace dubbles EV points. And vitamin items like Protein, Zinc, HP UP, And so on, gives 10 EV points each. But they wont work when the stat has reached over 100 EV points so its best to use 10 of them before you acctually start training. Natures like Adamant boosts the level 100 attack stat by 10% and lowers sp attack by 10%. Other natures do diffirent. I hope this helped. ^_^

PS: I've so far only cleared HG 1 time, but i've cleared Diamond 183 times exacly. ^_^

@12DragonsRule Modest doesn't fit Salamence, since Salamence has good Attack and SP. Attack, and Modest lowers Attack by 10% and raises Sp. Attack by 10%. It would fit more with Naive since it lowers SP. Defence (Which it doesn't need anyway-) and raised Speed. (Which is very useful for outspeeding Lucario and someothers.) It should then have 236 ev's in attack, 24 in SP. Attack and 252 ev's in speed with the attacks Outrage, Earthquake, Dragon Dance and Fire Blast.
