My own honest opinion is that this one's almost as good as any other version, and that's mainly 'cos of Marco's voice. To me he sounds like a phantom should sound.. A bit "scary" and a bit mysterious. What comes to the female voice, I have to say I prefer Brightman. This version is not "THE WORST EVER", not even close. The composition as for "a heavier version" is as good as it can get. Fortunately people are different, otherwise they'd be no civilized arguments :)
