he uses a boogie. go for a mesa tone with bass near 5 mid near 3 high near 5.

think of it this way, turning all the knobs to the same value will result in a flat eq.

but all at 0 and all at 10 have very different tones.

the lower the value,the smoother.the higher,the punchier.
