Great model. Building a BTR-70 right now myself (zvezda, repackage of revell?) Really easy build, also got a BTR-80A (stalled) going. I remember doing the wheel suspensions was a nightmare because the instructions were a little vauge. Anyway, it should be easier this time around on the BTR 70. Even got a Trumpeter BTR-40 waiting to be started. Where will I find space for my countless kits?
@Kristian1944 Well you could try either an M1A1 Abrams or M551 Sheridan or a USMC LAV-AT. Ive got all three models on my shop at my site and ship worldwide :-)
thanks dave for the video again im building my self the german sd.kfz164 hornisse 35scale from dragon and happy 2 see the days are getting cooler, great time 2 build kits
Dave where do you keep all your models? You must have hundreds of them, i keep mine for now in "storage" ,im not home that often plus getting new apartament soon
I keep them in the least dusty place lol cleaning them is a nightmare, so they are on class shelves, but im building a model shop for my site soon and found a company who build display cabinets so hoping to do something with them :-)
Thanks mate, I actually really love it, the grey looks great and was the deciding factor to do this paint scheme, that and the fact they are large camo area's instead of the normal complex camo pattern :-)
You can check photos of it on line, try a google image search and match them up that way. They will be pre road pad tracks like you get on modern MBT's. with those I personally prefer to paint them brown and then the parts of the track that come in to contact with the ground I paint metallic as if they were worn down. If you go to the tank section of my website, scroll down to the Swedish STRV tank and check out the model you'll see what I mean :-)
