Compound can have almost any accessories, the recurve competitions especialy in the Olympics can not have peeps sites or even the 97 to date no- peep alignment attachment, can't remember the correct name for it but it basicly replaces the peep site usualy on the string and in my mind is better. You can still have stabilizers and front site in the recurve competitions as far as I can remember.
Hah, a Bowtech called a 'simple hunting bow'! That's a bit of a laugh.
These professional archers usually train around people who blow whistles and shout on release. They have to. Otherwise they would be releasing poorly every time someone opened their mouth and no-one would win anything. The true professionals aren't bothered by distractions.
The fucking CHinese have messed up manners. THey blow whistles right before release, when it comes to players from other countries, then they go super quiet when a player from their country goes up. Leave it for them retarded bunch of smelly poor people to be a total jerk off. Call me rascist BOO HOO
i saw several others other than archery but i recall two compound contestent who were distracted by the audience with party poppers (they were chinese and got kicked out) but the judge did't allow a reshoot
totally unlike what the american fans did during the ryder cup (golf) against europe a few years back where US fans ran onto the green BEFORE the euro got to putt for a tie AND continued to shout distractions during the euro's putt. I think this is called hole field advantage.
Yes you are correct Scarlatto90 a "simple hunting bow" is incorrect. I made a biased comment since I shoot a Bowtech Guardian and prior to that I shot a Bowtech Patriot. I guess you can say I was happy to see my kind of bow in the tournament. Thanks for the correction. Jesse
you got it,the Russian shot a BT Constitution w/shibuya sight and a fall-away rest, see both wrist sling and finger sling, ok actually that was a blue shoe string!
The russian is using a Bowtech Constitution which is not a simple "hunting bow" it is also perfect for a FITA or an indoor. I would like to remember you that Albina loginova arrived second at Lipsia (world games).
No but it helps so much it makes shure you have the same exact anchor point every time.

i know that it seems mean but its true.... many US contestants were ripped off in many ways. like gymnastics and archery

Can you furnish a single example of how any American archer was "ripped off" in ANY way in Beijing?

If it can an interest to anybody, the Russian girl was hesitating whether it was her turn to shoot during the time frame starting 02:09.
She asks someone beside her: "Should I shoot?.. Why?.. Are you sure?.." And finally she shoots and scores the 3d 9.
