@boburhead75 the problem with that movie is that Ben stein didn't interview Francis Collins and Ken Milller who are both evolutionary biologists and devout christians. He only interviewed atheists such as richard dawkins and pz meyers
I think science and spirituality can coexist. But since fundamentalism is NOT spiritual it cannot. Christianity, like ALL other faiths and philosophies must evolve or go extinct.
it will go extinct, because it is static (even instructing that it must remain static) and therefore always susceptible to violent fundamental interpretations.

God merely created animals with the ability to adapt and survive in different environments. However, these traits or variation have limits within a kind which the neo darwinists can't seem to understand.
And yes, science and faith can co-exist. In fact the greatest scientist's whom ever lived believed the bible. The problem is darwinian evolution is NOT science...it's scientism. Human beings did not evolve from anything period and the fossil record proves this point.
ha-ha, playing evolution by KoRn in the background..

A recent poll showed that 40% of Americans don't accept that evolution happens.
Therefore, 40% of Americans are functionally retarded.

That remains to be seen. In the 21st century we have the best oppurtunity yet to put things in perspective and integrate all of it.
