  • oh the memories.....driving to west virginia with my parents....when i was a young lad... :) what has music turned into these days

  • Mullet alert! Mullet alert!

  • I NEED A LOVE BUTTON! Like just doesn't seem to cut it...

  • that is some rockin mullet

  • Western Swing Ain't Dead!!It's Asleep at The Wheel!!

  • My first concert, late 70s in Omaha, and will always rank with the best. The Music Box sat like 1800, but was like a big old bar, square, with a 2nd floor balcony overlooking the band and a large dance floor. It was Western Swing at its finest, and Asleep at the Wheel at its best. Wasn't supposed to be there, as I was just 15, but the whole building rocked!!!

  • These folks live are worth the price of admission for sure, pure talent.....years ago I blasted my way west over route 66....that is not a beer drinkers road for sure!!!!

  • They are a great band. I think they need to be seen live to truly be appreciated, though.

  • Great band and song! I had an AATW album from about late 70's I think. It was a "live form austin texas" but I know they have done more than one. This one had so many great songs. This song, miles and miles form texas, god bless the child etc. The album had a flier in it with a sketch of a cowgirl riding a bucking bronco. I let that album get away form me and i cannot find a cd of it ora copy of that album anywhere. :-(

  • That is one tight band!

  • That was the best lineup Ray ever had.

  • @jonathansrant "n"ashville???? Where is that???? This is TEXAS music!

  • IH-40 ......

  • @jonathansrant

    ain't that the truth!

  • Get down and boogie ....Awesome .....

  • theking81thay are the best

  • Oklahoma City looks mighty pretty comin' in from El Reno. Kickin' it out on 66. Doin' 135 mph in my maroon '62 "409" with saddle-tan buckets, a Hurst shift four-on-the-floor, straight-linked dual quad Hollies, gettin' rubber at 90mph shiftin' into 4th... Dangerous, yah, but those were the days.

  • This song makes living in San Bernardino almost bearable!!! :)

  • The best version of this song---even over Nat's!

  • Comparisons are odious. Both are pretty darn good.

  • The rock'n'roll is by John Mayor.

  • Theres a rock'n'roll version (like real rock'n'roll, but not elvis rock.)

  • Nothing better than Asleep at the wheel!!!!! 5 out of 5

  • Simly the best
