@hansw15 Do you mean Relic? Relic is the dev-team, THQ just published it under their licensing agreement with Games Workshop. They kept to the lore quite a bit. In fact, I don't see how they deviated much at all. Only thing I can think of is the bloodletters fighting alongside chaos marines who are clearly sorcerous, but even that isn't against canon, considering it DOES happen, albeit rarely.

@CreedOfHeresy in the early stages it was relic entertaiment that made the game, but in its later stages THQ came along and made a horendous story.

the main reason is deviates is that titus replaces a already well-known captain of the second company of the ultramarines, and that he disregards the codex.
