The movie was incredible, especially the scene with Ginsberg and the cross. Blanchett was amazing, as usual, and the scene with the Beatles cracked my ass up :)

I just saw the flick the other day, and went in thinking blanchett was gonna be terrible, but she was amazing. If the entire film had been based on her part it would've much better. The scenes she was in reminded me so much of eat the document. Christian Bale acted horribly, as did Ben Whishaw, but Heath Ledger did fairly well.

ben whishaw was alright, i liked his ticks. christian bale however in some films like this one has too much actor/model jawline & pouting going on, made everything cheesy. but yeah cate blanchett was beautiful and amazing

Wow, way to be ignorant. It was increcibly obvious that Bob was fairly angrogynous in the mid 60s from the time Highway 61 Revisited was recorded to the time of his motorcycle accident. Maybe YOU don't think it's a good idea to have a women play him, but obviously Bob thought it was a cool idea or else he wouldn't have approved of the project. You're totally missing the point.
