Uh, wow... Light bulb moment! I work in my bedroom and my environment kind of sucks.

I live by this small, but beautiful lake that is within walking distance. Its about a 6 mile hike around the lake if I walk the entire way from where I live. About half way they have a library! They also have plenty of areas to work while looking out at the lake. Its a pretty peaceful area too.

Great video Katie.. and I agree with u 1000 percent! The library is a great place to get focused on whether task u need done! it's a great place for me when i need to write a important letter to a friend or just come and surf the social networks including YouTube! I just be in the moment and forget the outside world! Thank u for always making my day!!!

That is so very true, because I work for a company that allows me to work from home three days out of the week and I found myself to be more productive working from home than in the office. Now thanks to Katie's advise I am going to step it a notch by trying the Library.

Too true, one of the best things about owning a business is creating your own schedule. It's an artform to balance everything. I like to delegate and manage as much as possibile so that I can work with others and have meaningful relationships with customers, vendors and employees. I guess people inspire me as much as a place, I do love making business calls from the hot tub, lol:)

I've noticed that I'm extremely focused when I'm working on outside at the park. I can be productive indoors but when I'm outside, I have no problem doing what needs to be done. I wish I could make an office that was open like that.
