The last compensation is every assault rifle, sniper and smg can kill at short range. Even if the striker can get used to about 15-20m when you have the first shot and three shots w/ extended mags and range, much further, and your screwed. Point and shoot, please.

@ShockwavesFTW "COD is just a reflex/connection shooter" exactly, every time I play BF for a decent amount of time and decide to hop on CoD I find that my K/D and score per minute skyrockets to about 3 k/d and 400 score per minute. After 2 or 3 hours of CoD my skills then degrade and my k/d drops back to 2 so in actuality CoD takes NO skill and actually adjusts you to using less skill because you really don't need to think to do well. I think you just admitted CoD takes no skill btw.

And I didn't say xcal has any connection to 402, except that he tweets (or tweeted before) to him about things in the game that needs to fixed.

I don't understand their logic by nerfing the shotguns. They're fucking awful in the first place. They lose to SMGs in close range when they should be almost equally effective. If they want to make shotguns primaries, they should just buff it. I want my spas to be like the MW2 spas.
I mistakenly unsubscribed from Xcal when I was removing a bunch of downers from my sub boxes. I was like wow I havent noticed an Xcal video on my sub box in like a week so I was like did Xcal quit youtube or is he dead or something then I go to the channel and see I'm not even subscribed to xcal. Too bad I have finals tomorrow, if not I would've tried to catch up.

Your team won because everyone on the other team had the "Oh ho ho, you're fucked" perk. It's a special, hidden perk that only activates when thee3nd enters a lobby and is on the opposing team. The game then proceeds to give thee3nd shitty connections as well as a shitty team in an attempt to exalt the pure awesomeness of said player.
Why nerf shotguns? Just because they do work at close range? That's what they were designed for. If that's a problem for campers or quickscopers or try hards that's their fault. Why include shotguns if they want to make them suck? Also didn't 402 say they wanted air support to be less effective in this game so it was more gun on gun yet all buildings have holes in to roofs and lots of windows...

They are op. Its just unfair to get killed by a dude with a pump, while you are running with a SMG/Assault were you actually have to consider the recoil. Yes, even in CoD you have to aim properly.
@RChuckNorris I can't read if you're joking or not, but Shotguns are the only guns in the game with maximum range. All other weapons do damage at all ranges. Shotguns have the slowest fire rates. Shotguns have the same mobility as SMG's. Shotguns even have lower fire rates than most other weapons. If they were overpowered, they would be fully automatic shooting M203 grenade launcher rounds.

And the reason you don't aim in is that every shotgun has crazy recoil when ADS-ing (except for the pump or lever actions which reset). When you hipfire there isn't much recoil. Why don't you use a shotgun like the ksg and the spas or the model and then tell me that shotguns don't take any skill fucking dumbass.

I said how can shotguns be OP when guns like the type 95 (2 bullet kill at close range), akimbo fmg9 or the pp90m1 rapid fire can destroy the shotguns more than half the time. And about the pointing and shooting thing, I could say the same for every gun in the game. Type 95, acr, pp90, pretty much no recoil and all you do is point the gun and hold the trigger. Sniper rifles at close range, all you do is aim in and let the aim assist do its magic.
@ShockwavesFTW actually I'm pretty sure I can compare sniper rifles to a shotgun because of their amazing quickscopeabilities at shotgun range. Also, at the medium ranges you talk about, it takes quite a few shots from the striker to kill which would give you time to aim down sight (especially quickdraw or Steady Aim pro). I'm pretty sure it is fair, because if you are going up against a shotgun user at close range, usually you will get your shit pushed in. At medium range, u have a good chance
@ShockwavesFTW anyway, why don't u try using a sniper(if you can quickscope good)/assault rifle/smg at close range against a guy with a shotgun, even if it is the striker, u will win most of the time. Intsead of blindly rushin around corners etc , why don't u slow ur pace down and check corners. Also, don't try to use every gun at close range, play to their strengths dumbass. OR go use a striker for a good long session of gaming and count how many deaths from what I mentioned before you get.

And saying that you basically fail at long distance every time isnt an argument for shotguns because you dont have to run into open areas. You can stay at close quarters all day long and what I mean by that isnt only camping. If you are a smart player you know how to avoid dangerous spots.

Your team won because everyone on the other team had the "Oh ho ho, you're fucked" perk. It's a special, hidden perk that only activates when thee3nd enters a lobby and is on the opposing team. The game then proceeds to give thee3nd shitty connections as well as a shitty team in an attempt to exalt the pure awesomeness of said player.

Why nerf shotguns? Just because they do work at close range? That's what they were designed for. If that's a problem for campers or quickscopers or try hards that's their fault. Why include shotguns if they want to make them suck? Also didn't 402 say they wanted air support to be less effective in this game so it was more gun on gun yet all buildings have holes in to roofs and lots of windows...

I still think the way people used to think about shotguns in CS.
They are op. Its just unfair to get killed by a dude with a pump, while you are running with a SMG/Assault were you actually have to consider the recoil. Yes, even in CoD you have to aim properly.

@RChuckNorris I can't read if you're joking or not, but Shotguns are the only guns in the game with maximum range. All other weapons do damage at all ranges. Shotguns have the slowest fire rates. Shotguns have the same mobility as SMG's. Shotguns even have lower fire rates than most other weapons. If they were overpowered, they would be fully automatic shooting M203 grenade launcher rounds.

Because if it was like real life, other players wouldnt have a chance against them. Considering that shot guns are op in first place, even with the unrealistic "range nerf". Its like quickscoping but with nearly 100% accuracy. I hate it.You just go around a corner and bam, dead without having a chance, even with decent aim skillz. Thats not right and u know that.

@ShockwavesFTW You need to be introduced to the type 95/pp90m1/p90/akimbo fmg 9 if you thing shotguns are OP as fuck. And the reason you don't aim in is that every shotgun has crazy recoil when ADS-ing (except for the pump or lever actions which reset). When you hipfire there isn't much recoil. Why don't you use a shotgun like the ksg and the spas or the model and then tell me that shotguns don't take any skill fucking dumbass.

I said how can shotguns be OP when guns like the type 95 (2 bullet kill at close range), akimbo fmg9 or the pp90m1 rapid fire can destroy the shotguns more than half the time. And about the pointing and shooting thing, I could say the same for every gun in the game. Type 95, acr, pp90, pretty much no recoil and all you do is point the gun and hold the trigger. Sniper rifles at close range, all you do is aim in and let the aim assist do its magic.

@ShockwavesFTW actually I'm pretty sure I can compare sniper rifles to a shotgun because of their amazing quickscopeabilities at shotgun range. Also, at the medium ranges you talk about, it takes quite a few shots from the striker to kill which would give you time to aim down sight (especially quickdraw or Steady Aim pro). I'm pretty sure it is fair, because if you are going up against a shotgun user at close range, usually you will get your shit pushed in. At medium range, u have a good chance

@ShockwavesFTW anyway, why don't u try using a sniper(if you can quickscope good)/assault rifle/smg at close range against a guy with a shotgun, even if it is the striker, u will win most of the time. Intsead of blindly rushin around corners etc , why don't u slow ur pace down and check corners. Also, don't try to use every gun at close range, play to their strengths dumbass. OR go use a striker for a good long session of gaming and count how many deaths from what I mentioned before you get.
