This past April at a Sebadoh show in MA,i met Lou before the show. Small talk was passed. I wish i would've remembered to ask him why he threw down the SG!
I've been looking for this performance forever. But this has me really confused, because I distinctly remember Lou and Jake throwing their instruments at each other at the end of the first song, and Conan looking really unhappy at them, as if it was unplanned. Did they do Crystal Gypsy twice on Conan? I'll have to see if I can find the videotape of the performance I'm talking about.
