I think ideally (or at least in my case) people use three fingers on top of their mouse, index on the left click, middle finger on the scroll wheel/mouse 3, and the ring finger on the right click. When using this method of mouse control the only finger left hanging off is the pinky which can comfortably grip on the right side of the mouse.
I do agree the side buttons are WAY too far forward.
"It's not small enough that you can throw it in your backpack" - What size backpack do you have? Like you say it's not exactly Logitech/Arc keyboard size but it's hardly massive.
@TheAmazingDaveFace if the USB is in a laptop then with some other mice you can just leave the usb in there but for that kind of size you have to take it out and put it back into the mouse, just a small downside.. not really even a downside, the smaller USBs just have the added benefit
I just got this mouse for xmas and love every bit of it. The only thing that's sorta turning me off is that the scroll only works on my web browser :S I can't use it anywhere else what so ever. Is this normal or is it slowly dying?
hmmm, very valid point about the space underneath the mouse. It's a pity though, the mouse looked really cool. I'm still considering whether to go with a flat mouse, normal fat mouse, or mini mouse.
I use the side button on the internet all the time, to go back on last page or in games because you can set it to some actions, really useful and fast way to do some actions
as a mouse have a very good desing but his right the first thing you do your hands go under the mouse and i dont feel it good in my hand the 3thrd button is usless bcz u can push it i give 3/10 only for the desing the 3
the arc mouse may not be the best but i don't grab the arc mouse like you i place my whole hand in top of the mouse i don't put my fingers under and is not awkward to used i feel that is confortable
well i see you don't loke the Arc mouse. but i had this mouse for over 5 months and works perfect for me. if you compare your hands with the mouse it just dont work with you cause of your big hands you have to look for what better fits you and looks like the Arc is not for you..
I love the arc mouse, but I couldn't agree with you more, having to plug in a receiver is far away from being practical. I'm rushing to the shop by the time they launch a bluetooth version or it. Thanks for the video!
It's not that I don't like it. I just gave an honest review of the product. Besides, I bought it clearance at Circuit City which last time I checked no longer existed lol. Just realize that I still like some of my stuff that I gave a bad review. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else if they were in the market for a mouse that's all.
@tarunpai this is my first time hearing that, but I don't have it so I shouldn't really be saying much. However, friends have told me it's nice, but only for portability. I really wouldn't use it as a default mouse.
serisouly dude this is the best mouse ever, its just tht ur hands r so huge it poses a problem for u . otherwise its an awesome lightweight and smoothest mouse ever
you hold the mouse strangely i think. i curl my index and middle finger just a little bit so i'm used to small mouses like usb laptop mouses so i might get this
Just got this mouse today on Mac OS X. Really smooth feeling, better accuracy by miles and no lag. Miles better than the Mighty Mouse in this aspect, and yes the little dongle works in the side of the keyboard too! : )
i got the Microsoft laser 5000 which got terrible reviews for disconnecting, but i havent had any problems with it. not once did it ever disconnect and the batteries are running strong after 3.5 months!
my mom actually has the Arc the fold up option to me is "whatever" only because it doesn't really save too much space, as for the pressure resistance, i don't put to much pressure on my mice in the first place I use a microsoft laser 7000 and it does me good
how about gaming? would it be eny good?

"My finger just want to curve underneath it " XD omg
Its fine for me even i have big hands, and it wont curve in .... side button is really a bad design - you need a witch finder to click that
chen8392000 1 year ago
I love this mouse. I think the reason you don't like it is because your hands are so large. Good review anyhow.

Is it just me or does it seem like the top button is for the side of your index finger rather then your thumb? o_0

I still don't get, what is the function of the side button actually.
adela1991 2 years ago
Through its bundled software, you can select any function for that button. For example, you can make it bring up Flip 3D or Alt+tab.
tipoomaster 2 years ago
how to do that?
sorry, kinda a bit slow about this
adela1991 2 years ago
Just install the included software, the setting is in there.
