I feel so bad for Michael Anthony watching this. We all know that Eddie is absolute drunk out of his mind, and Hagar isn't helping terribly. Seems like Michael Anthony is the one trying to hold this whole thing together. Without him, I hate to wonder what would have happened. Look when he goes up to Eddie at 1:30 and realizes how fucked he is, and just shakes his head and walks away. Not fair to Anthony at all.

Man this tour was an absolute trainwreck. Eddie is completely out of his mind, literally, sammy has sort of just given up on the show, mikes in the same position as sammy and is shocked at how drunk (drugged?) eddie is and the fans reactions! (1:30), is he wiping dribble of eddies mouth or something? Alex is just playing fine, although he doesn't look like he's a part of the band here for some reason. Thank god Eddie has gotten himself together and the band IMO is finally sorting itself out!

This is my favorite verson of VH. (Sam, Ed, Mike, Alex.) GREAT years in the late 80's and early 90's to bad Eddie fucked it up. Saw the show in Worchester MA in 2004 Ed was way off, did not sound good at all.

I love all four of these guys, grew up with van halen right from the start with Dave, however I was at this tour and it was a disaster. Ed was seriously fucked up from the booze, mikey was only allowed to participate on reduced pay, Sam was out promoting Cabo Wabo too much, a little bit of a disaster. I am happy to say they are doing better these days with dave at the mic and Ed good and sober
