  • I didn't realize Jeopardy had been going on for that long...while the other game show would be long forgotten.

  • Ruby Vine's Railroad Salvage! That place ruled!

  • Great stuff. Would you happen to have

    any WTNH signoffs circa 1977-78?

  • Loved the old station. I played guitar live during one of the shows in the studio. Live models demonstrating Aloe Vera & the editor of the Old Farmer's Almanac were on the same show.

& Radio Salvage... You could find anything in there & it was like this huge flea market with cash resisters on the way out.

    Good memories

  • Thanks for posting this. This is a great sign off! IS that footage of Hartford or New Haven?

  • Wow! This sure brings back memories! I completely forgot about the "Headline Chasers" game show! Channel 8 was sure in their prime back then! I don't even watch them these days.

  • Wow Wink Martindale lol

  • ...hmmm, when did they expand to five?? the promo says "...weeknights at six and eleven."

  • The channel 8 logo looks simular to the WISH-TV 8 logo of the early 90s

  • @dwlightfoot Ironically, both stations are now owned by LIN TV.

  • The Action News promo just before the sign off brings back memories... Al Terzi, Janet Peckinpaugh, Bob Picozzi, and Geoff Fox. The glory days for WTNH with the Move Closer to Your World theme, great music!

  • I second ''mathiasvolta''...thanks for posting!!

  • Great reception ! Thanks for uploading !
