I would be interested in playing this game if it wasn't for the fact that the whole thing feels too forced to me.

What I mean is, the protagonist, Jennifer, is absolutely slow, both in her mind and body.

I can't believe you can be "left in confusion" because a kid runs away. It's just... not right.

Wow, this is way different from Atlus' other titles. When my friend first told me of this game, I thought it would be in an art style as Odin Sphere or Persona, but it's quite realistic and rather creepy. And the string accompaniment really brings forth the feelings of "being in a decrepit old mansion" and also reminds me of something you'd find in The Outer Limits or the Twilight Zone.

It depends on your perspicacity. It can be quite unsettling in certain places, psychologically, however when it comes to blood and gore there is virtually none. The game, in a sense, tells a very ambiguous story that is very obscure, in most matters. Perhaps, it is the fear of what we do not know, that makes Rule of Rose so compelling.

I personally think its great, although there is a lot of controversy surrounding this game, mainly the violence I can see, but they also talk about sexual themes which I don't really see, there is a bit of hinted lesbianism, but aside from that, nothing really.

Yeah... the only real "lesbianism" was in the intro scene. After that, it was merely suggested. Hardly worth banning in the UK, although... the animal abuse and suggested molestation from the Head Master was pretty raunchy.

it's got the camera angels for dramatic sequences i see. it's easy to move when the camera angle shifts. just tell her to hold the analog stick still and she'll keep moving straight even if the camera shifts.

In some battle sequences, Brown may try to fight by your side, but yes there are times if Brown can't hold the imps or bosses off he'll just lay on the floor like a doornail, but he'll come back to life later and be good as new. And I think you need to eat a buscuit to top it off..but I think that's all that happens..
