  • This music makes me laugh...nway luv da results!

  • i love this! I'm going to wear my hair like this everyday from now on. Thanks for the idea

  • @justice15kids I like it too. You can actually wrap your hair in a t-shirt to get rid of some of the "drippies". And sometimes I use a spray bottle to wet it instead of putting my head under the faucet so it's not sooo drenched. Thanks for the comment! :)

  • Thank you for sharing this video. I followed your advice and it works every time. Very pleased with the results. I could not get the Palmer's Hair Milk so I used the Africa's Best Organics Shea Butter and Tea-Tree Oil Moisturizer or their Carrot Oil Cream.

  • @The240462 Thanks for the response. I'm really glad that it works for you.

  • Rinsing it right after you apply the gel is taking most of the product away and will cause some frizz. That's also why you have to apply more after you rinse it the next day. I think its best that you just keep a spray bottle on hand to keep your hair really saturated before apply the gel and I do suggest finger combing while you apply the gel, because you actually ended up doing at the end and it would save you time and extra steps...Hope this helps.

  • @benjaminscameron Since this video, I have noticed that I get similar results by using a spray bottle to re-wet the hair. I appreciate the suggestions...Thank you for watching

  • @mitchellzee Okay, cool. Keep up the great work!!!

  • I am currently growing out my locs so I can wear my hair natural and loose again. I am discovering these new curly gel/pudding products. You mentioned wetting/saturating your hair and it taking along time to dry. My question is what do you do in the winter? What happens when you put a hat on and it's still wet?

  • @kameelean This is definitely a style for the warmer months. You can also wet the hair with a spray bottle so that it's not so wet with similar results. I also discovered that after wetting, I can "plop" with a tshirt towel and the curls are still in tact but not so wet. In the winter I like using rollersets, twistouts and braidouts to stretch my hair out. I also take advantage of the colder weather to flat iron my hair 1x per month (so I can wear hats ...lol) Thanks for watching! :)

  • Great video! I love the before & after.

  • @ShidaNatural Thanks Miss ShidaNatural! :D...I watched Taren's footage of your Kinky Curly Demo...I'm thinking about trying it out soon.

  • your hair is very beautiful...

  • You look awesome and I love your videos!! Can you tell me what type of olive oil was in this video or a type you suggest? Thank you!!

  • @csb2414 I pick up good Olive Oil from the grocery store or Natural Foods Store like Whole Foods. What I look for is something that originates from Italy, is in a glass bottle and is cold pressed. We use it daily in our house so I've become a little bit of an Olive Oil snob...lol :D. As long as it's Extra Virgin and cold pressed it should work just fine. Thanks for watching

  • doesyourhair get crunchy and stiff from using the gel? bcuz mine does

  • @coat95 Yeah, it does but I've noticed that it feels a lot better when I use the Olive Oil underneath. Forget the oil and it's crunch city..lol. I just bought another one of the ECO gels...it lists the hold at a 5. I might try it and see if it is less "crunchy"

  • I <3 your curls. Mine are kind of similar, but I guess I won't be able to tell until i cut the rest of my fryed relaxed ends off. Still waiting it out though.

  • omg

    i love it!!

    thanks for posting this^^

    the curls came out great!!

i will try doing the cold water rinse^^

  • Cute style.

  • I just did it, now I'm letting it dry to see if I will like it lol

  • @Oakcliffsweety Sweeet! Let me know what you think :)

  • you have a beautiful curl pattern, and the next time i do my wash n go I'll have to try the rinsing the water through it. Have you tried the Eco Styler w/ olive oil (the green one)?

  • @KT313 I still have a little bit of the Olive Oil Eco Styler left. I really like how it slicks the hair down when I put my hair up. It was just a little stiff to me for my wash n' go's. I haven't tried it with rinsing the water thru though. Hmmmm... :)

  • Cute!!

  • looks great!

  • Very nice, thank u 4 the tutorial, quite detailed. I personally do not have time 2 do that in the morning and got tired of having wet hair, ESPECIALLY in the winter time.

  • @tjbmom123 Yeah, it's finally starting to get warm here (Colorado). We just had snow last week! During the winter I wore lots of Twist-outs/Braid-outs, Buns and sometimes, the straight look (so I could get a hat on my head..lol :D) Thanks for watching!

  • Really cute, I just got some EcoStyler and was looking for a way to use it other than gel'in down my sides. Thanks for sharing.

  • @Oakcliffsweety No problem. I really like the Eco gels because I can combine them with other products without getting crazy white stuff or flakes. It's my favorite and I've gone through a few, believe me...lol :D . Thanks for watching!

  • @mitchellzee

Ok and that was going to be my next question about it turning white or getting flaky. Thanks

  • @Oakcliffsweety There's a blog called "It's Only Hair" where she shows how to test a product with gel before applying it. Every once in awhile I'll get a reaction with something. My guess is whenever a product has a lot of protein in it like Cantu Shea butter leave-in or Mane n' Tail conditioner is when you'll get white stuff with Eco. It goes well with shea butter, suave conditioners and Coconut or Olive oil. Let us know how it goes :).
