I love how they looked at each other when entering the rink, see 0:03 to 0:07, they really created the atmosphere there even before the program started.
This is the second year in a row that they've had my favorite free dance. Just STUNNING. I loved this arrangement of the music so much, I had to track it down and buy it. I'm glad I did, too. There are some really great tracks on the CD.
Why did the hell they changed the lift at the end..if you guys would take a look at the performance in the sc. you will know what I mean it was a really clever and artistic lifting up but they cut it off.. thats terrible all the dancers do that..they just cut off the best parts why
i still don't know why there was a deduction, (maybe over the time limit?) but apparently there is some rule about how you can't be upside down unless it's a transition in the lift (someone correct me if wrong). considering that the upside down part of that last lift is gone, maybe that was the problem?
What can you say about a stunning program where all elements of technical skill, interpretation of the music, step sequence and flow, and difficulty and grace all come together so perfectly--like listening to a beautiful symphony or watching the sun set on the horizon--sends chills up and down your spine.
Awesome performance. Perhaps not as strong emotionally as at CoR, but still showing great relationship on the ice. And they've got all level 4s except for that midline step sequence, once they get that their score will skyrocket.
I would agree.:) I think it was the certain circumstance at CoR which helped a little bit for the emotional level, especially the second half of the program. But I still think they skated brilliantly at GPF. You can really notice their improvement on the quality and smoothness of some of the elements. Also those tender touchs during the transitions were better done here, especially during the slow motion.
Beautiful skating couple.

I agree. I know which lift you're talking about at sc and thought it was outstanding and very creative.
