@Ponzodie Mats Leven on the live Rising Force is an epic set of vocals. It just meshes with the song. J.S.S. is classic, but that;s my fav song+vocals. Find the live 1998 brazil version, it's pretty sick. Although it admittedly doesn't have the class of the J.S.S. solo in the Lengingrad show. Nobody is as cool as an 80's rocker sporting shades at night.

malmsteen is absolutely amazing guitar shredder, but he suffers from the same syndrome as all guitarists in his league. When they play solos, they all want to outdo each other in how many notes per second they can play. Sometimes I feel that with fast solos they want to cover the fact that they haven't done their homework and actually worked on solo as they should, but instead slapped couple of arpeggios and called it a day. Most noticeable in cover of ABBA - Gimme Gimme Gimme.
