Where is Akoth? On matters affecting Kenyans he is never there to leave comments. But on clips touching ODM or Raila he is always there leaving some bad comments. A real tribalist.
Roses of wrath and filth!! Imagine the flower companies were not at Lake Naivasha. The Flower Industry in Europe would be dead by now. And we would have an ecologically sound Naivasha with enough fish for the fishers and the hungry. The environmental rules and regulations within the EU are very stark leading to higher costs for the environmental imbeciles, hence their movement southwards, to ever-welcoming Kenya. Whenever you see a Kenyan Rose, it is a symbol of death to nature. Dont buy it!!
There got to be a balance somewhere....sustainable development must take account of future generation while feeding the present. What is matter with this nation? It can't be possible that everybody is this stupid seriously.
Dear Kenyans, make sure to visit all interesting places you would like to in the next few years. Soon it will be all gone - no animals, no lakes, no forests!
@siasabora : Solution: Retrain the employees in tree planting and responsible gardening. We should use them to establish long-term nurseries for our depleted forests. And the government must pay.
@333 How about they get paid a severance package? worked out bet the employers and Unions? We could come begging in the West! Tell you Elsmere a local Conservation unit packs credible conservationists. Throw in Wangari and donors will be listening! what yu think?
@SB: Good suggestion. In fact all the workers should terminate their services. Even without our assistance, the irony of the whole episode is, more than half of the workers in the flower companies will not be working there in the next three to five years, due to various reasons ranging from poor health to unorthodox termination of their contracts. Also most of the workers in the flower companies are seasonal, casual workers. The flower companies have very few African employees on tenure track.
@333 Game shot! Lets go. BBC, ABC, New York Times, Washington Post and LA Times post some word there. FreeG will take care of Scandinavian countries and we need some Germans here too. Raise the awareness.( if only we had some beauty celebrity like Esther Arunga to boost the morale Lol...) We Can!

Impunity at its very worst. Let crip the wings of these mighty beasts.
Thanks Robert but be careful, these beasts do bite back cos they know nothing will happen to them. They simply enjoy an impunity
