How to Get Precorder [Versions below webOS 1.4]

Yes put your Pre in devmode and plug into computer before you start doing this. If it doesn't work try to reinstall novacom, tools - options - attempt (re)install novacom

After i put the 2 files in quick install

it says that theres an error and that i should see "ipkg log" or something like that.

The app is in my phone but if i try recording it gives me an error message..

If you are on version 1.3.5 or above thats why. I keep getting the same message, but webOS 1.4 is coming later in February which will include a video camera with editing capabilities!

I am about to try to get the video camera. Last time I tried it didn't work. Also I dont really know how to get a fancy indruction to videos but all I know is that you can start off by just adding a indruction thats basically just a title using windows movie maker.

hey hopefully you'll answer this . well however i downloaded the precorder and pixi thing to get a video camera to work . however it downloaded and everything , i ran the app precorder on my pixi and pressed record it would record . but the problem is that when i would select the option "launch last video" it would say there was an error playing this file ? help ASAP (=

Delete Quick install and redownlaod it to see if getting a newer version will help.

why are the files saving as adobe?

Probably because you have previously set the default application for .jar files to open with as Adobe. Try setting them back to open with java.

i got the precorder app installed on my phone but the gstservice didnt install with it so it doesnt record can someone help me

It installed except an error saying "gstservice"  keeps coming up when i click record new..

Hmm... Try uninstalling it and reinstalling. If that doesn't work try re-downloading and intalling Precorder and GstService.

DUDE THANKS BABY, look all the fucking videos out their don't work. everytime I fucking downloaded it i launched it then clicked record and then the videos didn't show up. omg you're the only one that made it work, ily bby no homo i'm not gay i'm just happy THANKS
