Her parents are killing her natural gift.She definitely should avoid publicity and all kind of public performances at her age.She should practice all day and come out at 17-18 years old at least, not sooner, but in perfect condition to play close to perfection.Unfortunately America has a big problem...not enough patience.They turn this girl into some "freak genius".That is sad.

Okay wow. It's not just the fact that she can play amazingly - it's her playing for herself and that's what makes it amazing. She completely loses herself in the music and you can see on her face and in her movements how much passion she has and that's SO amazing! I understand emily won an ascap award for her composition of northern lights, I loved it. I have heard her play it other times though and in the middle part there were more notes than she played here. Maybe she was a bit nervous. But no doubt she is a great pianist, but she seems so much wiser than her years.

I heard also that Emily had piano training from Emilio del Rosario, who is regrettably, because of his illness, is unable to teach at all. I was also a student of Emilio del Rosario.
