Hello, I want to thank you for showing your lap, it's very kind of you to show how it's done, when you didn't have too.

I have a Logitech Driving force GT steering wheel which has force feedback. Do you think this is good enough for me to train on to get a good lap time? Or do you think I need a Logitech G27?

@GreenCeeLo No it's not good enough. You'll need a real F1 car to practise, then you should get a good lap in this game. It's how Massa got his Ferrari pen.

First of all congratulation for this lap, i'm stuck at 56.6 56.7 in italian ranking =(...But you've been beaten by a Norwegian guy now...honestly it's very strange what that guy did...he never did a lap before and suddenly become first...Moreover, searching in internet, i found that he is a software developer...i think he's cheating may be and it's not right beacuse you really deserve the first place!

I already found that out as well. Very strange and for a software dev it shouldn't be too hard to manipulate the game. Indeed his pace before was pretty bad, something around 57.5 and then in one go a 56.1? Would be more credibly if he was in the top 15 before that.

According to my knowledge all the fast drivers do this. Of course, it looks a bit awkward and I don't think this should be a valid lap. But unfortunately FVA does not invalidate such a lap. Therefore you have to do this, to be on top.

@Mkroenke how can u trail brake if it uses the clutch to downshift, looks like it is mapped to the downshift paddle automatically

Just shift down very early, to get the clutch engaged as soon as possible.

Nice lap. When do you make the times, in the first lap with absolutely new tyres, and then restart the game? Also, what are your partials, where do you gain most to Massa's lap? Thanks in advance, and as I said, awesome lap.

You get a new set of tyres after each valid lap, so I usually do about 10 consecutive laps. Splits are 16.7, 22.2 and 17.1.
