1) Alan was only one who came close to standing up to Gold with his game (more than one occasion, despite Gold's special commentary on his own cards lol)
2) To each is his own! I liked his game better than anybody, I found his gameplay way awesome considering his chip count. If you disagree with me. I respectfully disagree with you.
Gold was incredibly lucky, but then he had such a huge lead that he could afford to see every flop. None of the other players would have played 43 off, but he did it. Wasicka must have felt sick seeing the flush come up.
Here is a strong suggestion…Stop playing on these rigged sites full of freakin bots man. Ive been playing the real thing “webcam poker” on pokerview. You will never go back to these lame boring sites.
probably the worst fold ive ever seen. why even play poker if youre gonna fold a hand like that? fuck the money or alll other considerations. i mean damn a straight flush draw?? i would fold that hand with a gun to my head. id put 95% of my bank roll on that hand. obviously ive never had to make a decision for the stakes that wasica was deciding for and understandably he was thinking about the extra 2 million he could get by finishing second but still man...you gotta play the game
shut the fuck up bashing jamie.. would u be complaining if u got good cards .. noo so shut the fuck up u jealous pricks.. he played solid .. the only thing where he was lucky is all the donks in the tournament goin all in on jamie when he had the best hand

I think its the recommended way if your a beginner to start playing.. They will double your first deposit plus multiple other important perks. Sadly only going work for the first 1000 people that create an account usin it
Jamie Gold must have about a million online accounts, I get sucked out on like that all the time. Totally agree with Wasicka, Gold is out of line this whole final table, just using his stack to bully people out, and when people do look him up he hits the miracle card.
That really is a tough spot for wasicka. Instinct says its an auto all in. If its a 3 way all in and jamie busts both of them then wasicka still gets second place prize money because he has binger covered. But if he calls, Binger no doubt folds to move up to second place himself. He can't even be sure his flush draw is live- higher flushe draws have to be in jamie's range here. Not really sure what the right play is there, very difficult decision.
everyone bashing jamie are tards...they dont show every hand so his luck ratio is skewed...and you cant hate on luck. he plays weak hands because he has the chips and can afford to do so.
he got lucky sometimes, but thats poker and if you cant live with it then stop playing.
Pathetic how Gold is celebrating....glad that piece of shit's money is now going to people who actually deserve it... too bad Wasica didn't call, Up&down straight flush draw, dumbass...
@UndercoverLdn dude ur so bad. his fold got him 2nd place money. if he calls the other guy folds and paul could still go out in third. all u scrubs talking out your ass obv have never learned how to play strategic poker.
@koningkorkY MY THINKING IS ALLEN IS GOOD BETTER THAN GOLD, BUT HE PLAYED BADLY THE FINAL TABLE BECAUSE HE FOLDED WHEN HE SHOULDNT AND RAISED HE HE SHOULDNT.
Actually almost every time Gold told the truth about his hand (as Chad pointed out at about 6:34). Usually his opponent wasn't prepared to take him at his word and paid for it.
cant believe wasicka folded that. Wonder what he put gold on, he seemed to be really worried about Golds hand. Even if gold had a pair, or two pairs, even trips, wasicka's draws would knock him out, whiich he would have if he called.
jamie gold is a one motherfucking lucky fish - most of them u can meet online playing poker... They've always way the best hands while u're crushed just like that... JAMIE GOLD U DONKEY
For me wasicka, made a understable fold, because maybe another player had a flush draw, and higher.. x) so he was only for the straight flush, that was only ONEE out
considering he had like 3bb invested in the pot, its not actually a really terrible fold. Versus a legit range that is willing to go with that flop he cant expect to have much more than 55-60% equity, and especially with a player behind, a I nd a drooler like Jamie I really think a fold is fine.
He had a huge opportunity there. By calling and winning he would only be down about 5:3. The fold was a fold of a man who was playing for second, not playing to win.
@naiki4sparta That was a tough lay down, you only say that because you saw the rest of the hand result. I probably would of folded because it would be the best day
cunningham was almost a 3 to 2 favorite preflop. and the call was ridiculous - he would have been dominated if cunningham had AK or AJ and at a disadvantage if he had any ace.
I agree that was a very weak fold given the circumstances. He has no chance against Gold since he has 10 to 1 chiplead over him. He has Binger covered so he could guarantee himself second if Gold sucks out on both of them. But if you care more about climbing the money ladder then folding would be the best, but I'm still fairly certain it's a -Ev fold.
Wow amazing plays by Jamie Gold. He single handedly knocked out 7 of the 8 players in a 1v1 all-in draw. Very lucky w the cards, but also excellent reads on the other players
Whatever the case, can we all agree that three way hand may just be the most talked about, debated, and just plain crazy situation in WSOP history? It gets my vote!
I don't understand how you can possibly fold an open-ended STRAIGHT FLUSH DRAW. I mean you got 3rd place guaranteed, and the gap between 2nd and 1st is so much greater than 3rd and 2nd. Plus the bracelet.
I dont know how much the money motivated his decision, but any name pro would make that call in 2 seconds. Im sure if it wasnt the main event or if it were a cash game he's calling for sure.
not to mention him donk pushing all in when binger is committed with any 10 and taking wasicka out of a hand where he can knock someone out...and to those of you calling out wasicka for not calling would you call on a draw after a raise and a insta push for 2 million dollars? if gold has a higher flush draw or trips youre calling from behind and risking losing an extra 2 mil if binger beats jamie and jamie beats you
lol obviously its easy to say you need skill to go through these fields, but sometimes luck and cards are enough...during this final table session they prob played 2,000 hands...and in those 2,000 hands we saw jamie gold hit the nuts vs top or trip like 4 or 5 times...even after 2,000 hands (tops) thats very hard to do...watch jamie play after this, losing over a million in cash, and not even coming close to a deep run again...jamie was lucky as hell, and is a decent poker player at most
Do u flip a coin for a chance at 9 million. Fold for maybe 1 million assured. I think Wasicka should have called that bet. Any hand he makes is the nuts and he has a chance at the title. Trying to outplay Gold was an impossible task. Its alot of pressure; but ur already assured millions so pressure signifigantly wilts.
He played well using his image aggression other players checked to him and let him hit his draw and he bet. brilliant run of luck skill and pychology.
This is sickening. I would have hated to go up against this guy at the final table. He sucks out EVERY SINGLE time. Has to be the hottest streak of cards in history.
I wish they would have edited in some hands he actually lost, if there were any. Seems like the editing is done to make him look even more lucky than he was.
Although Gold got ridiculously lucky catching cards, he actually didn't suck-out much once all the money went into the pot. He was just so lucky to get QQ vs. JJ twice (particularly against Richard Lee's big stack), and to win the race against Cunningham.
He did suck-out to knock out Binger, but only because Wasicka stupidly laid down his open-end straight flush draw. Binger's chips should've been Wasicka's.
man i didnt know wasika let go that 7-8 spades. either way if he lost he was going to get second place money and recognition... he ends up second anyway but that pot would of made a difference.. maybe the same outcome but more hands were going to play out heads up if he went with a flush and straight draw there. wow but i guess he waned the big stack to knock off bunger and then play heads up.
i don't mind gold i think people are way too hard on him. Sure he's no way the best player, but it takes a lot of luck for anyone to win the WSOP, even the best, so it wasn't like he was the only winner to luck out. And you can't get mad at a guy for getting lucky.
its a disgrace a douche like jamie gold has a wsop bracelet.. jesus. he keeps saying how well he's playing but it's easy to appear good when he flops the nuts everytime
jamie gold is a lucky donk...

A call is wrong. A fold is wrong. This is the birth of so sick for me and Wasicka basically summed it up with 'disgusting'.

Wow amazing plays by Jamie Gold. He single handedly knocked out 7 of the 8 players in a 1v1 all-in draw. Very lucky w the cards, but also excellent reads on the other players

KJ he calls? What a donkey!
lookaguru 2 years ago
no he's not. He's only slight underdog vs pair of tens. With such a big stack, you can gamble.

Whatever the case, can we all agree that three way hand may just be the most talked about, debated, and just plain crazy situation in WSOP history? It gets my vote!
fuggybootnling 2 years ago
I don't understand how you can possibly fold an open-ended STRAIGHT FLUSH DRAW. I mean you got 3rd place guaranteed, and the gap between 2nd and 1st is so much greater than 3rd and 2nd. Plus the bracelet.
I would call if I had to put my house in the pot.

on the contrary to what everybody has been saying...Jamie has played incredibly well not just having luck. and his mindfuck talking skillz

horrible fold by Wassika; you dont throw away an open end straight flush draw.
Zakillah 2 years ago
I dont know how much the money motivated his decision, but any name pro would make that call in 2 seconds. Im sure if it wasnt the main event or if it were a cash game he's calling for sure.
bender2004 2 years ago
Although he finished 4th, Cunningham played very well this final table. His biggest misstep was folding to Dallas doucher Wasika's bluff.

from 5:35 jamie flashed his jack with 3 hidden. did he really get a penalty ?

not to mention him donk pushing all in when binger is committed with any 10 and taking wasicka out of a hand where he can knock someone out...and to those of you calling out wasicka for not calling would you call on a draw after a raise and a insta push for 2 million dollars? if gold has a higher flush draw or trips youre calling from behind and risking losing an extra 2 mil if binger beats jamie and jamie beats you
fffcccf 2 years ago
lol obviously its easy to say you need skill to go through these fields, but sometimes luck and cards are enough...during this final table session they prob played 2,000 hands...and in those 2,000 hands we saw jamie gold hit the nuts vs top or trip like 4 or 5 times...even after 2,000 hands (tops) thats very hard to do...watch jamie play after this, losing over a million in cash, and not even coming close to a deep run again...jamie was lucky as hell, and is a decent poker player at most

no one is good then they dont catch cards

Gold is no good when he doesn't catch cards.

it's so sick. how wasicka can fold this hand?
flush draw, straight draw, straight flush draw, by the up, the down... so sick
bagoubagou02 2 years ago
Part of the reason being is that his flush draw could be no good. Gold or binger could have Wasicka's flush outs covered.
marcko90000 2 years ago 2
Gold is da best!!!
pyhEek 2 years ago
Do u flip a coin for a chance at 9 million. Fold for maybe 1 million assured. I think Wasicka should have called that bet. Any hand he makes is the nuts and he has a chance at the title. Trying to outplay Gold was an impossible task. Its alot of pressure; but ur already assured millions so pressure signifigantly wilts.

jamie gold is the worst world champion in history

He played well using his image aggression other players checked to him and let him hit his draw and he bet. brilliant run of luck skill and pychology.

This is sickening. I would have hated to go up against this guy at the final table. He sucks out EVERY SINGLE time. Has to be the hottest streak of cards in history.
I wish they would have edited in some hands he actually lost, if there were any. Seems like the editing is done to make him look even more lucky than he was.

Ever seen Gus Hansen playing?
oiltankrs 2 years ago

And you can't get mad at a guy for getting lucky.
u2makepovertyhistory 2 years ago 2
its a disgrace a douche like jamie gold has a wsop bracelet.. jesus. he keeps saying how well he's playing but it's easy to appear good when he flops the nuts everytime
