  • haha

  • WHY AM I WATCHING THE PRICE IS RIGHT ON YOUTUBE?!

  • Isn't this game retired?

  • @TheColorPaul

Yep. This clip is from Season 36. It was retired after Season 37's first playing because Drew screwed up the rules. Instead of saying moving the third marker will cost the contestant $500, he said that as long as they don't move the third marker, they win the $500 no matter what. The staff decided that instead of embarrassing Drew during the taping, they made these the new rules. After that playing, they also decided to never play the game again.

  • I didn't complete my comment yet. The point is you pay 500 dollars for a 75% succes rate instead of 25%. I would always switch if I was playing that game.

  • This game has a 3/4 winning rate if it is played correctly. The chance you got the wrong one chosen is 3/4. If he points out the 2 right answers you got 3/4 chance that the other one is the wrong choice. He offers to change, so you would do that. And have that 3/4 winning rate.

  • 43764 videos...what

  • at 1:56 you can her drew say "okay, shut up!!!. and for a little tip to hear that turn your speaker as high as it goes.

  • @espben360 he says showcase showdown coming up next don't go away ... not ok shut up

  • I want a NASCAR pinball machine. I can Imagine it.. LMAO.

  • if you go away chuck norris will kill you and some other important guy

  • I wish Drew Carey would bring back Make Your Mark. That was one hell of a game.

  • Clutch

  • It's sad where TPIR is heading. I was afraid this along with Barker's Bargain Bar would be scrapped, and was I right. It seems like CBS/Fremantle wants to forget Bob was the cornerstone for the show's success; there will likely be no more than three people who have hosted the same game show for 35 years. I knew when they just gave the $500 regardless of what happened, the game was doomed and defeated the purpose.

  • @pannoni1 nope the rule didnt change everything is exactly the same expect how drew said it

  • This game was called Barkers' Markers

  • Who is the owner of The Price is Right? I know Drew Carey is the host. But who is the owner. Cuz he is losing a lot of money.

  • @sacktappedu

haha you dont understand how shows work

  • I heard this game has been retired. If so, RIP.

  • Yep, you heard right. I read about it on the Wikipedia article that if was due to that one playing where the contestant got to keep the $500 even if he got the last prize wrong.

  • sadly that is true

  • Drews Like HURRY THE FUCK UP LMFAO

  • I have a feeling John is going to enjoy that NASCAR pinball machine.

  • @PregNut I have a feeling John will Enjoy EVERYTHING!

  • you have to get them all

  • It was called Mark Your Mark when Davidson hosted. IMO they shouldn't have changed the colors on Mark Your Mark. It looks very ugly.

  • When Bob Barker hosted, this game WAS called Barker's Markers, because it has Bob's last name on it, with the 's on it. But now Drew Carey's hosting, the game is now Make Your Mark.

  • The Poker Game CAN be modified for prizes that have four numbers in the price, although if The Poker Game was brought back, the game would need a makeover though.

  • Is the Poker Game still in storage at CBS in Los Angeles, and just not being played? The game CAN be modified for four digit prizes and be played for four digit prizes, but, Make Your Mark SHOULD be changed back to it's ORIGINAL name, which is Barker's Markers because Barker's Bargain Bar is still played under that name.

  • They need to change the name of this game back to Barker's Markers instead of Make your Mark, I don't like the new name for this game, The Price is Right needs TWO games with Bob's last name in them, that being Barker's Bargain Bar and Barker's Markers, it's as simple as that. Also, The Poker Game needs to be brought bac, but with a whole new look though.

  • The Poker Game will not return, because the game only uses four 3-digit price prizes.

  • In MY opinion, the game SHOULD still be called Barker's Markers, NOT Make your Mark.

  • They NEED to change the name of this game back to Barker's Markers because they still have a game named after Bob Barker called Barker's Bargain Bar, this game should STILL be called Barker's Markers, NOT Make your Mark, I don't like the current name for this game though.

  • I've heard that they're altering the rules a little bit for the new season. Now the contestant doesn't have to worry about losing the $500 if they decide not to change the last marker. Now, if you leave the markers where you initially placed them, but you lose the 3 prizes, you still keep the $500. I personally think this is a good move b/c constantly contestants have lost b/c they wanted the money so badly, almost like Temptation.

  • I wondered if they were going to keep with one's with Barker's name in them. They did with Barker's Bargain Bar but not Barker's Markers. I think these were the only two that had Bob's name in them but now there is just that one.

  • Meaning if Trader Bob were still around they should just leave it at that, and not call it Trader Drew.

  • If they can leave Barker's Bargain Bar, then they should leave Barker's Marker$ alone. There is no reason to change the name. After all, 3 references to Bob (Barker's Bargain Bar, Barker's Marker$, and the Bob Barker studio being mentioned in Rich's opening spiel) is not too much.

  • This game used to be called Barker's Markers.

  • For the Doug Davidson edition of The Price Is Right in the 1990's, they called the game Make Your Mark.

  • They changed the game title. It used to be Barker's Markers. Now it's Make Your Mark.

  • Usually Bob puts the markers up for the contestants after making a selection.

  • This is not Bob... Its Drew.

  • I know, but that was before Drew hosted the show.

  • Ah, so they DID change it's name after all. At least they still have "Barker's Bargain Bar."

  • they really shouldn't have changed it, c'mon, leave things alone!!!!! A color change is one thing, but a name change, give me a break

  • It looks fine by itself, but it just doesn't match its surroundings. There are and have been uglier pricing game color schemes.

  • This wins the award for ugliest pricing game of 2008.

  • they even changed the colors??? blah can't they leave things alone??

  • why couldn't they just leave it to barker's markers? sounds like a good ring for the game instead of "make your mark"

  • This was on The Doug Davidson Version.

  • cool
