@Razer1103 they havent battlefield and skyrim right now but you can downlaod this program and test it, you can play everygame anytime for 30mins and you have to restart game and start from begginging. I was playing on my soo shitty laptop Saint Row the third and i'll buy play pass for 3 days next friday so i could finish game at one 3day pass. All i can say is "try it"!

Where is WC3, SC2, COD3? GTA4? CRYSIS 2? BF3?

Isn't it the whole point of OnLive is the capability of running "ever" hardware demanding games without the continual upgrade to your PC in order to play the latest title or the need to dumb down the software so just to fit into the console? (like the graphics and players limit in PS3 for BF3).

Current consoles & ordinary laptops could handled most of the title of what been offered by OnLive. So is there anything special about OnLive?

We buy a small box for a relatively cheap price (£30) which connects to a website like onlive and everything is purchased there. All the boxes will really do is provide a good connection.

@utapau235 Latency do to poor infrastructure or distance. If your ISP has too many customers and not enough servers or if you are in a rural area your latency is going to be higher.

It's like Street Fighter x Tekken I will buy the disk version for the ps3 then wait for Super Street Fighter x Tekken (Whatever it's called) and buy that for digital download. Buy the add-on content for the third part of the game and i've got the full complete game. The normal Street x Tekken I will trade in to help pay for the Super version. Yeah it's all good but i'm not willing to pay for a digital download fuck that! A good example would be a game like Street Fighter 4 coming out on release then a year later Super Street Fighter 4 comes out. But you've already bought Street Fighter 4 and not willing to buy Super which is a whole new game. But with Super you can get the add-on download of Arcade edition which is fair enough so it's technically the same game. But the normal Street Fighter 4 which was bought is now just a waste!

I can see Onlive being good for peps that have:

1) a shit laptop that can play minesweeper OK

2) a mac user, but really if you have afford a mac then I can't see why you wouldn't afford a ps3 or xbox....

3) you only have a tablet....

4) a 20g/bit connection thought that apply's to all of the above.....and probably the cost of that connection would probably be about the same as buying a ps3 or xbox....

5) you want it all and is content to have a 2-5sec delay on each button press...

You cant play from anyplace anytime and since thats the whole point why "I" have a gaming laptop i doint see the point in using this. Sure not having to download is cool, but still you have to pay for a limited range of games that will expire after a while (but that is a long while, so maybe I shouldn't be complaining) and maybe running new games on an old computer is cool, but most people have gaming PCs or at least decent ones if they are tech-savvy, but maybe this is better.
