All you processorz dudez, the Nokia N8 may have a "slow" main processing unit at 680ish mhz, but keep in mind that the N8 also has a GPU as well! Almost dual-core if you ask me ;)

Processor is ARM 11 680mhz AND 2D/3D Graphics HW Accelerator with OpenVG1.1 and OpenGL ES 2.0 support. And of course graphics accelerator takes lots of payload away from the processor. Just stating...

N8 has: FM transmitter, Full HD capability, Dolby surround, Wireless Keyboard & mouse capabilities, 12 megapixel camera...yes, 12 megapixel camera, blow up the pictures and notice your little cousin flipping the finger to someone in the background... 48Gigs of Total Memory.... yes, 48 gigs- no other phone has that, etc... I could take a sip of coffee and wait for 2 more seconds while my browsing page downloads...I think I can stick w/ the N8 for what may be able to get.

@thexmanin lol the reason all the other phones have better processors is cuz their OS cant run without em. iOS and android are very heavy OS's while Nokia does not require high end processors cuz symbian is a very efficient OS.

nokia N8 is a big fail....the processes is half GB....i think the only good thing is the camera.......i think the best smart phone in the market at the moment is HTC DESIRE HD.....at the moment i have htc desire, and it's fab..... sooo fast ....also iphone4 is a good phone but it's overpriced ........ Android is the best......for everyone: buy the htc desire is the best.......

I phone has full multitouch not only multitouch like n8 , the fastest texting phone in the world without lag in keyboard like nokie x6,5800!!!, app store reach 300,000 apps and still there is cydia full of apps, apps is always update, the highest resolution screen on the whole mobile 640x960, battery stay for full one day and that's more than enough and the phone made by apple Inc. CEO Steve jobs computer geeks and inventor.

I've had both HTC, Nokia and Apple smart-phones and sorry to break it to you guys but the iPhone 4 is far superior.

You only have to watch this vid to see how unresponsive the screen is and how slow it processes.

Never dropped a single call on my iPhone 4 and any phone breaks when you drop it from a good height (incidentally dropped my iPhone a few times and it can take some hammer!).

iPhone 4 reception issues still exist.

The N8 has a MUCH faster processor than the iPhone, I have an N8 and my N8 is much faster than the one in the video, there is something wrong with that N8.

Plus, Nokia is now using the only feature that separated iPhones from others, multitouch.

@gamez101 I'm not too sure about that , I've had a play around with the N8 and it that video seems near enough the same performance wise. But the multi touch might soon be out of all the other phones thanks to Apples to registered patents.

@gamez101 To begin with, the iPhone 4 signal issue is not a big deal!!! I can't even make my iPhone lose more than two bars and thats when it's being held REALLY uncomfortably.

Secondly, the iPhone 4 has a faster processor than the n8. iPhone 4 = 1ghz a4 &512mb RAM. Nokia n8 = 650mhz ARM11 &256mb RAM.

Also, the multi-touch on the iPhone (and screen quality too) are far better on the iPhone as it has better software integration and has been properly designed for the job.

@technowizard101 The iPhone's Processor Is'nt 1 Ghz It's More Like 800Mhz . It Has The Same Chip As The iPad But It's Been Clocked Down. I Seen A Video By Smartphoneenvy Comparing The N8 And i4 And They Are Pretty Much The Same In Terms Of Speed. iPhone Is Smoother Though.

@martyb0y1690 Firstly iphone you can watch youtube on it , it's been on since day 1. Also with regards to the camera please have a look at pictures taken by a iphone4 they surpass a lot of phones that have came after it. Google "photoshoot on iphone" that will show you what can be achieved. Also with regards iplayer on iPhone it is in the works but if yu look at the bbc website it is suggested that it is being worked on. And the battery life issue I have an I4 and i don't get it at all
