@TheSinghFIRE actually Jay Dee (J Dilla) produced the beat for Busta for that track. It's also on the Dillagence collab with the 2 artists just b4 Dilla died. Busta now has a huge collection of Dilla's beats. I do think I prefer the eerieness Stacy brings to the classic as you rightly said.
@JayGriffinblaze no it wasn't my friend, the original beat was on the Dilla beat tape Hiccupped Classix, it was the intro. Then Busta asked him for the beat, which he remade it. However, before Jaylib came to exist Madlib rapped over loads of Jay Dee's beats. The original version was just this without Stacey Epps. regardless, its still dope.
@TheSinghFIRE that makes sense.... I did wonder why the Busta version sounds crisper and more produced with many of the peripheral sounds edited out when compared to this version. Always learning new things about Jay Dee! Thanks for the info, and definitely right on the dopeness! Kita!!
I;d nearly go as far to say this is the greatest beat ever
