Very good - but I seriously doubt its a sightread... you knew where to start tapping, and a 1108 note streak on a sightread is something unheard of to be honest, unless the song is a piece of piss, which this isn't.

Great job, but it definitely wasn't sightread. First of all, you knew where all the HOPO's were, proven by the fact that even though it was going so fast, you still didn't strum them. Also, you knew where to use star power, at the beginning of difficult sections. This could be because you know the song, but that doesn't explain my first point.

The thing is, in my honest opinion, FotS is harder than TTFAF, but when TTFAF was released in GH3, there was little to no one who could pass it, let alone FC it. The song was a feat to pass, and again, much more so to FC. In fact, claiming to FC TTFAF at the time was a joke, and you weren't serious. It was unheard of.

Now, however, the players who could barely pass TTFAF then are now much better. They have learned how to FC crazy hard songs, and FotS is expected to be FC'd.

IMO TTFAF is MUCH harder than FotS, I can ALWAYS one hand all of the OMGWTFBBQ section and can rarely do the intro for TTFAF one handed. Not only that it took me longer to learn the intro to TTFAF than FotS's OMGWTFBBQ (I only decided to learn the TTFAF not long back so i'm not to experienced). Also the solo for FotS is MUCH easier, the rest of the song is SO easy, TTFAF is consistantly fast and has a much harder solo in general.

@HKDisaster Hyperspeed actually spread out the notes so it's easier to see what's going on. And I am familiar with the tapping because I've played a lot of Fury of the Storm versions on the PC. And I was lucky as hell in the solo. And my sightreads usually are pretty good in general.

Also note that he was getting the Bonus Star challenges throughout the duration of the song for Gold, Platinum AND Diamond. If he HAD played it before, the beacons for those completed challenges wouldn't show up during the song since he would have had already gotten them during a previous playthrough.

The only thing to debunk this as solid evidence is the fact that Training Mode exists. So I'm not sure how well my observation will hold up. It is what it is...

As for the accurate tapping, like I said before, he probably already had a good idea of what was coming. Although I do have to admit the transition into the long tapping part was rather flawless for a sightread.....

I can believe this is a sightread, but purely in the sense that this is the first time he's actually played the song on THIS game. There were many custom charts for this song before this, good ones at that for the most part, so coming from the perspective of someone who's really good at the game, I can say that I had a pretty good idea of what to expect when I first played this song.
