@VincentBrooke1 not at all. The Lolita style subculture has absolutely nothing to do with the book, and actually the style is very modest. It's about covering up, looking cute and feeling pretty. It has nothing to do with sex, and the outfits are not meant to be sexy at all. It's about the girl dressing the way she wants, and taking a stand against the notion of dressing 'sexy,' like society dictates nowadays. There's a lot more to it, but I hope I cleared this up at least a little bit. :)
