well i got f*cked over with MY reward money. two years of commitment and i get screwed. it's cool to do for your community, but it sucks when they took my well earned and promised money. now i have heaps of student loans that won't get paid. IF YOU WANNA HELP YOUR COMMUNITY BYPASS THIS ORG. AND HELP AS MUCH AS U CAN (BY URSELF) ULL MAKE MORE WITH A PART TIME JOB, TOO.

As a former AmeriCorps member, I can say that can appreciate this program. I just WISH their wasn't a 2 year service limit.

Yeah.. but the stipend is based on a faulty poverty level that have not been updated since Nixon was president.
Imagine how much better the program could be with fair stipends for everyone.
