I have a strong feeling that it is composed by Shankar Jai kishan as u might've noticed in the first clipping that shankar is next to Rafi sb and in next clipping jaikishan is embracing him.That makes me believe that its S.J. composition, but who ever did it Rafi sb has given his soul to this song. Strange life we live! There are so many treatments for heart disease, and prevention of heart attacks, too. Yet, Rafi Sahib and other great singers died of heart attacks. I suppose that's the way it was meant to be, yet, I can't help feeling we lost this great man too soon.

absolutely correct... the fact is that heart disease in India goes unnoticed until something happens. And treating a heart attack can only be done successfully if the patient gets to a hospital quickly...I'm thinking that he may have survived the attack had it happened somewhere else... I remember being in Mumbai and seeing an ambulance just sitting in traffic, and nobody moving out of the way...and even some motorcycles passing around it.

I am listening rafi sahab since i was 5. I love his voice. i use to compare rafi with other singers, but i realized that this is wrong. like you cannot compare rafi with kishor, becase there are lot of songs of kishor kumar that make him the best. the songs these great singers sung, nobody can ever sing, doesnt matter sonu nigam try to make rafi's voice, or kumar sanu copy kishor. they were one and only.
