Fuck. I Started listening to TMV and now i realize that's one of the best and creative bands of our time. they created a new concept of feeling music. i cannot explain exactly what i feel. its surreal. love TMV. Brasil loves TMV.

the mars volta is one of the best live bands out there, especially how well they can perform their complex and long-ass songs while still managing to sound fantastic. get bent, haters.

yeah but their complexity compromises their live performances 'cause they're so goddamn hard to recreate in concert. And you could easily compare Cedric's vocals to Geddy Lee's vocals, both are prog rock singers who have incredible ranges but don't have great quality voices when they hit the high notes. But even then, Cedric can't hit all the high notes that he does on the recordings

1. Listen to the odyssey. i know it was written for halo, but it's fucking amazing.

2. Cedrics vocals are good, but Boyd could outsing the shit of him any day

3. Obviously he is putting a lot into performances and that's why he can't hit notes worth shit half the time. Incubus can put on a good show too. I know, I've seen them do it. I have yet to see the volta, but from what i've seen and heard, they're not as good live.

Brandon Boyd is too hot to be made fun of by Cedric. Don't get med wrong I love TMV - one of the best live shows i've ever been to was a TMV show in London a month ago. But why does he have to hate on everyone that is not so different than everyone else... Boyd is a great vocalist too! Gotta love Cedric for his talent though!

alright i'm just as much a volta fan as i am incubus. actually incubus was the turning point into better music for me. but in all honesty, brandon boyd is a much more solid vocalist than cedric. anything he does on an incubus album he can do live. anything cedric does on a volta album, well, you've seen the videos.

This is probably one of my favorite performances of Metatron. Cedric is vocally spot on--my only complaint is that he's a little off key during "folding wormholes," but whatever. He can do whatever he wants with it, since he wrote the melodies.

They are consistently misunderstood and unfairly bashed by narrow-minded critics; we are fortunate that Cedric, Omar, and the entire TMV crew choose their fans over their fame.
