  • This Sentry 10V was replaced over the summer with a Federal Signal 2001-130 and moved one block south. It's now next to a newly constructed Holiday Inn Express.

  • @Olimppics002 I must admit you will never forget your first siren !

  • England is the most Tornado hit country in Europe and alot of these Tornadoes go unnoticed may be its worth setting up sirens accross the UK just incase England ends up having its own Tornado alley

  • ...very cool Micheal...

  • Is the siren near the closest street light? It looks like a siren is on that pole when the lightning flashes behind it.

  • @Audinos Yes, it's right next to that street light. There's now a bank right next to the siren along with a brand new hotel. The illuminated building on the far left is Hays' Wal-Mart.

  • hat is a Sentry Siren in Alert not sure what model of Sentry it is ?

  • @garyhstorms10 It's an older Sentry 10V, yellow in color. It's the northernmost siren in Hays and I believe the only Sentry in the system (Hays' system consists primarily of 2t22s, Penetrators, and Allertors). This siren won't be along much longer as the city is in the process of replacing all existing sirens with 2001-130s along with adding one or two Modulators at the public sports complexes.

  • You must have been right underneath the bugger by the sounds of it.

  • WOW. Incredible lightning and sirensong!

  • Awesome storm capture!!! Welcome to my home state!
