I got attacked by an owl on a run a few weeks ago. Now I'm terrified when running near trees.

I had one attack me late at night but i wasn't in the woods I was in a parking lot with a vacant lot nearby.

The owl started to fly towards me and head level and I just started watching it but cocked my fist up when it got closer when it was about 5 feet from my face and it turned around.

Scary shit because those things can easily rip your face off with the strength they have in their talons.
