  • geez what is your mortality rate. the way you handle these fish is terrible. have you ever read how to handle trout to increase survival rate?

  • No power bait or meal worms. For the cutts and bows....it's really all about scent. Shrimp oil is key because the fish are feeding on fresh water shrimp. Two other baits to use are small pieces of actual shrimp....or.....squid. The squid actually glows deep in the water column and I have had good success on that as well. The cutts cruise the bottom...the bows this year are between 9 and 15 feet.

  • was anybody using power bait or meal worms

  • Hey chadmillerfishing! This is SuperMasterFisherman but i changed accounts! Thank you for that tip last year! I outfished everybody and they didn't know how to handle it, and they never found out what i was using... I am going to Rockport Reservoir this Tuesday and was just wondering if you have ever fished that lake, or if you would mind sharing a couple of tips.. Thanks!

  • thanks i am going this saturday with my friends scout troop and remember seeing your video. were you tipping the bait with anything?? last year my friend had wax worms and i had night crawlers and he was always catching fish.

  • OK...keep this to yourself. The key is to cover the hook with a wax worm.....and smother your bait with shrimp oil. Trust me....it will outfish anything out there! Good luck and let me know how you do!

  • are you using foxee jigs or buck tails???

  • Neither....just a 1/8th oz jig head and a two inch Gulp body.

  • Nice trout,,, You should come to Panguitch Lake and see what "FAT" trout look like,,,, hit me back!

  • Great Video!
