I know what a remix is, and I've heard plenty of them, and most that I've heard the artists did his/her own verse. For example, look back at the "Flavor in ya Ear" remix, did you ever hear Biggie, L.L., or Busta biting off of any of Craig Mack's verses from the original song? How bout Trey Songz remake of The Dream's "Rockin that Thang"? No, those artists did their own original verses. There's a difference between remixing and biting and 50 clearly did the latter.

The 50 & Ja beef happened in 03', they got raided in 04'. The trial lasted 2 years and it took most of the Inc's money, not to mention they were dropped from Def Jam, you try putting an album out after all that. Irv spent 05' to 06' finding another major label to distribute his label the Inc. In 07' Lloyd dropped his album, Ja was next, but his singles didn't do too well & album leaked, so he's recording new material. Music industry is a process, Ashanti & Lloyd have singles out now.
