I grew up listening to the Smothers Brothers!
My dad is a gun toting, southern loving, Ronald Reaganite, but paradoxically he is also a hippie, a lover of peace.... :) Nice song.

OK bro, this time I cried listening to it. It appeared he did too. The absolute silence in the audience is also deafening. The Smothers brothers are well known for their peace advocacy and I love their acts. Two great men.

if you search "smothers brothers" on youtube you will see that they were best friends with the Beatles and Johnny Carson and every big star alive.He loves the cause of peace and they lost thier national tv show for speaking out against the vietnam war.

I was a redneck bigot who didnt like Muslims. Then I got cancer and faced my mortality. Then One day I woke up in pain for the suffering of humanity especially the Muslims. And no one was doing what needed to be done. I am on a quest for justice and peace. I study Arabic three hours a day for two years so far. I dont fully understand why Im on this mission but I have no choice except to see it through
