Yes, Carle is there, but Morrow's foot/leg is interfering with Nabokov too. Morrow isn't even stopping in a conventional manner. When you stop with your left foot forward, you use inner edge of your left skate and your outer edge of your right skate. Morrow was trying to stop with the INNER edge of his right skate and his skate was moving forward. That's a kicking motion.

Wow, Dallas fans, how much clearer do you want it? His foot is moving forward. The puck is pushed by his foot into the net. That is a kick by definition. Intent is not included here. It was an excellent call, and I say that without bias.

I'm neither a fan of the sharks or stars as you can clearly see by my screen name, but that should have been called a goal. I reviewed this video 10 times already and he clearly didn't kick it in nore was he looking down while the puck hit his skate. No i understand shark fans defending this no goal, which any diehard fan would do, hell I would to, but the Sharks got away with one on that goal.

The 1st disallowed goal was called for 2 reasons; 1. Morrow drag this foot to the net and caused the puck to go in. 2. He clearly interfered with Nabby.

The 2nd disallowed goal was called because he used his hand to redirect the puck into the net. Besides even Morrow knew that the goal wouldn't count so I don't know why u guys r bitching about and u still had a 2 goal lead and u still blew it. SO STOP BITCHING.

You can argue the "distinct kicking motion" all you want, but the goal shouldn't have counted anyway because of goalie interference.

Put the video in slow-motion from 3 to 7 and you'll see that the puck actually bounced off of either Nabokov or Carle and went onto Morrow's skate. Then look at where Morrow's head is at the exact same time it bounces off the SJ player..He's looking at the net. He must have amazing intuition to not only be going at that fast a speed but to know a puck going that fast will hit the other guy, go right to his skate, and time it perfectly to where he kicks it in, all while not even looking!

a side kick is still a kick. I can kick straight and i kick side ways. The punch was still in a motion of a kick which in turn knocked the puck in.

also was the puck going right in to turcos glove b4 cheecho touched it? Cuz nabakov's pad is straight on the ground... and is then lifted up when it makes contact with morrows leg.

arlgith being a stars fan i didnt like the call, but i can easily understand why it was ruled no goal, he didnt try to kick it in, but his foot was moving to the goal and helped knock the puck in, its a no goal, cant just keep complaining about it, lets just win the next game, we still have the advantage

This was such a bullshit call. Dallas should have won that game. There was no kicking motion at all. All there was was a stopping motion. IF he hadn't, he would have plowed into someone or the net. Such a stupid bullshit call

2. How did Morrow not get an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty? He was flipping his hand, he kicked the puck away from the faceoff dot all the way down the ice after this "goal," and after the second one that was disallowed he jabbed at the puck with his stick in an attempt to do the same thing again WHILE the official was reaching down to pick it up (again, it was already set on the faceoff dot).

Morrow's conduct was despicable and a terrible example to set for young hockey fans in the audience

HAHAHA you want despicable?...here it is..the NHL. i am a non partisan figure in this argument...just like all the commentators on versus last night...and that was a goal..it embarrasses me to love hockey at times when the nhl has goal judge make a decision like that and then have a laugh about it. im surprise morrow didnt do more on the ice..since it's being treated like a circus from one side.

And please enlighten me as to how that was a kick. It bounced off his skate and went in, and his leg was going forward to begin with! Two things:

1. I'm a sharks fan but I agree he didn't kick it in, HOWEVER, am I the only one who noticed (I was at the game and noticed it the first time round too) that he's standing IN THE CREASE and running into Nabokov's pad when he scores. It's a no-goal for goaltender interference, kick or no.

there's a huge difference between that call, which was whistled dead, and an outrageous call made by Toronto.

I mean, if I'm a ref, and the puck is sitting in the crease, and I'm in the corner way far away from the play, I'm going to blindly blow the whistle on the assumption that Turco covered the puck while flat-backing less than one second from the Thorton shot. Oops, I guess it's easy to loose sight of the puck when it's in the net.

THAT'S actually his job. As idiotic as it sounds, he basically has to blow the whistle once it's in the crease and he loses sight of it. if he thinks it's covered then he's not going to stand there and wait 20 minutes. it's stupid but it's no reason to take away a goal from Dallas that obviously wasn't kicked. "Benefit of the doubt"? There was NO doubt he didn't kick it, they just screwed the game.

I think this was a make-up call because of the missed goal the sharks scored in game 3--the game winning goal that was disalowed because the ref "lost sight of the puck." It's nice to see the sharks get the benefit of the calls once and a while--we sure didn't in the calgary series.

The ref blew the whistle on SJ's because he lost sight of the puck, but that doesn't mean you go ahead and take away a clear Dallas goal just because you made a mistake 2 games ago. If that's how referees operate, then that's a clear sign they're all brain-dead.

When it's been proven that corruption exists among NBA officials, why would it not exist in the NHL, or any pro sports? A business is a business, in it to make money. A longer series means more games, more money. The league's influence on the officials AND VS and ESPN commentators is hilariously transparent.
