Racism isn't a complex issue for those who perpertrate it and if they had their way John Barnes would be sitting at the back of the bus with the West Afticans.
They did not "choose to believe one man's word over another", even Liverpool's lawyer acknowledged it wasn't a case of one man's word against another. They found Suarez guilty because he continuously changed his story, because his story did not tally with the video evidence and because his story did not tally with what those even on his own side (Kuyt and Comolli) said. People need to read the report.
@SeanOSull19 I read the whole report. John Barnes is 100% correct. The report says, I quote, that they 'preferred Evra's case'. Preferred. They didnt find proof that he was telling the truth. Just because Suarez might have been a little shaky doesnt mean he was lying. He barely speaks a word of English for Christs sake, Evras been in this country for years! Evra said that Suarez said the 'n' word atleast 8 times, yet he was found 'guilty' of only saying it a few times! So?

You're selectively quoting there, when Liverpool's lawyer said himself it wasn't simply a case of one person's word against another and you're still trying to argue it was you know you're desperate. Suarez also had a translator so the English excuse doesn't wash. Also, Suarez changed his story to fit with video evidence he'd seen, and was contradicted by other angles he hadn't. Damning.

Plus there were about 10 'witnesses' that happened to be on Evra's side that never even saw the incident. Dirk Kuyt was the only one who really witnessed it, but they didnt even believe what he said, so what was the point. Clearly no one is going to remember precisely what happened in an event weeks and weeks ago!
